Essay- Insights about blended learning (face to face) to be implemented by the

university this semester.

We all know that we haven’t experience a traditional face to face classes for almost
two (2) years due to COVID 19 pandemic. As I remember, I came first to PUP school
when I was first year college student, then I came back again in fourth year. Anyway, I
couldn’t blame anyone because we all experience this kind of crisis in our life.

For me, having an online class is not an easy after all especially for those students
who struggling so much with a poor internet connection like me. (I’m living in ‘linang’
area who has poor connection of internet). I experience late submitting my assignments
on time because of signal. I also experience being late when answering quizzes and
exams. Those are some of my hardships during our online class. I must say that maybe
ONLINE CLASS has an advantages and disadvantages at the same time. Online class
gives us a way to be with our loved ones whiles studying and prevent too much
expenses unlike in face to face learning.

But, since our university is now implementing blended learning (FtF) this semester.
I am glad to be back facing a reality again despite of any expenses it would be. I will
pursue to finish this course through face to face classes. I am happy because like what I
said earlier I came back to school again after two years, I am now a fourth year college
students. That’s why I am agree with the decision of the university in implementing a
blended learning class. As a fourth year, we need to be more focus in our studies like:
doing thesis, business plan, farm management, for pricing and costing and so on. In
face to face we can learn and do more in actual. We will learn it more focus one by one.
As Ma’am Mercy said, we are now more on competency based especially we are in
agriculture.

That’s why I do believe that this semester (ftf) will be full of learnings that we can
use in facing a reality world. But of course, don’t forget to follow safety protocols before
anything else.
