This software is compatible with the following Yamaha Guitar Group Helix family of devices:

• Helix (version 3.00 or higher)

• Helix Rack (version 3.00 or higher)
• Helix LT (version 3.00 or higher)
• HX Effects (version 3.00 or higher)
• HX Stomp (version 3.00 or higher)
• HX Stomp XL (version 3.00 or higher)

This installer will overwrite any existing HX Edit application that is installed in the /Applications/Line6 directory
on your system. Please visit the Helix Online Help page for documentation of system requirements and known
incompatibilities. You will also find detailed instructions for configuring Helix.

Default install locations:

• This version of HX Edit software installs to /Applications/Line6.
• This installer will automatically make HX Edit the default application for opening .hlx
preset files, .hlb bundle files, and .hls setlist files.

Administrator rights:
• This installation requires Administrator rights to this computer to install HX Edit. You
will be prompted for the username and password of an Administrator user on this
machine during the install process. If this is a home computer, your current user name
usually has Administrator rights and you will simply have to re-enter your user
password.

Uninstall Information:
• To uninstall HX Edit, simply move it from the /Applications/Line6 folder into the
Trash.

Build Engine: BUILDENGINE
