Hello my name is john Michael enriquez, I am 19 years old, and I currently live in Balayan batangas and I

am a second year computer engineering student in batangas state university. And I am here to present
our first activity in this subject.

1The field I will pursue in the future.There are a lot of fields or careers when it comes to the course of
computer engineering,

2there are some that might say the best is robotics and cybernetics engineer and others will say
computer graphics engineer but for me the best is System Hardware Engineer that is why I am doing my
best to achieve this goal.

3You might be asking Why did I chose this field?I chose this career because of the variety of modern
technology or products that now includes a computer,

4many new appliances and vehicles come with sophisticated computer programs and hardware that
need to interact with the other components of the products,

5that is why this career is in demand especially in the future. And as a part of the new generation I can
think of products or inventions that will favor consumers.

6Let’s say cellphones, laptops, or even cars, wait what i meant futuristic cars

7I know what the new generation likes and that will be my advantage and it can have a big impact in this
field of work.

8In every field of engineering it is required to be innovative, and thankfully we are being taught how to
be creative, to be a critical thinker and systematic.

9I am the type of person that wants to learn more and more, I don’t surrender in challenges I do my best
to be relax in situations that is uncomfortable enough to make people give up.

10 In pursing this career I am not afraid to take every opportunity even if there are big risks because I
know if I fail I will learn a lot from it so that I can be better in the future.

11There are a lot of characteristics needed to be an efficient system engineer that is why I need to work
on those characteristics and skills so that I can achieve it,

12for example I am lacking attentions in details especially small ones, I am easily distracted and forgetful
on small details that is why I should always focus on every detail and every single thing to be an efficient
engineer.

13 And one thing I also noticed is that I am not comfortable doing is having teamwork, being an
engineer is not a one man team especially in big projects but I noticed that I always do things alone
because I don’t want anyone to help me or do things with anyone else, and that is why I need to work
on these to be an effective engineer because I know in the future I will not accomplish anything as an
engineer if I do things alone.

14Because I am independent and enjoy working quickly, it has been difficult for me to ask for help when
I need it.
15 I have learned that it is much more beneficial both for me and the business to reach out when I do
not understand something or feel burned out with my workload.

16I will work on this by asking help when I need it, for starters I will ask to the people around me or my
relatives and then gradually asking help to other people so that I can overcome this weakness.

17And another weakness that I have noticed is I found it difficult to work with aggressive personality
type people. While I understand diversity in personalities makes a business strong, I tend to quiet my
own ideas and opinions around louder people.

18To overcome this the only thing I can think of is to spend more time with this types of people to learn
more about them, their communication style and motivations. So that in the future I can collaborate
with these type of people and have a healthy environment around my job.

19As a college student in order to achieve this goal.I will focus on enhancing my skills that I will use in
my future job also I will do my best to master all related computer engineering tasks that I will use as my
strength in my field of work.

20communication and writing skills are also vital points that companies are looking for an employee
nowadays that is why while I am still a student I will make it a point to acquire and be proficient with
these skills.

21And lastly after I graduated, as an applicant I will accept any related job opportunity that will be given
to me this will serve as a good and stable stepping stone for me to achieve my dream job.

22All the learnings, knowledge and new skills that I will obtain in this related job will be my set of assets
that I will be able to offer to the career I am aiming for.

23Furthermore, most companies nowadays are rooting for applicants with experiences related to the
job they are offering.
