Reach the World: I Will Go is the title of the strategic plan for the global Seventh-day
Adventist Church. The plan defines critical issues and measurable outcomes that are
essential in fulfilling Christ’s mission for the church as described in Matthew 28:19-
20 and Revelation 14:6-12.

The year 2020 is not an ordinary time. Daniel, Revelation, Matthew 24, and Luke 21
all point to a world in which evil is exploding and hope is in its greatest demand.

Some may ask, What can I do? I am but one person amid billions. Shake your faith a
little because God has a plan for you. God loves to work with those who consider
themselves least qualified.

Test Christ’s promise which is found in Matthew 7:7-8:

“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto
you. For everyone that asketh receiveth, and he that seeketh findeth, and to him that
knocketh it shall be opened.”

I love Ellen White’s “may be sure” statement:

“The humble worker who obediently responds to the call of God may be sure of receiving
divine assistance.” (Christ’s Object Lessons, p. 354)

 The expression “I Will Go” is found in many places throughout the Bible. Yet, the
world church adopted the I Will Go title from a mission youth program initiated at
River Plate Adventist University in Argentina. Let I Will Go come to us fresh and new
and with the knowledge that it has the embrace and leadership of a young church.
Thank you, youth. Thank you for again setting before the world church the Biblical
imperative: I Will Go.

More than 22 million Seventh-day Adventists from nearly every country in the world
are called to become ambassadors of hope. It is insignificant that Reach the World: I
Will Go is calling you to become involved. However, it is highly significant that Jesus is
calling you to become involved. Ask God to reveal the gifts He has given you, search
the plan for yourself and decide to be part of the final movement that will usher in
the end of the age—Jesus is coming again!
