Observation of Results and Feedback

The table displays the consolidated results of the Pre-Test in Project All
Numerates that was conducted via synchronous and asynchronous administration. As
per record, there are 51 non-numerate learners in Grade 1 and showed the highest
number of learners belonging to non-numerate among all grade levels. It also revealed
that 8 learners belong in non-numerates level in Grade 2 and 10 non-numerate learners
in Grade 6. Out of 1632 pupils who took the Pre-Test in PAN, 69 of them belong to non-
numerate which comprises only 4.23% of the total examinees.
There were also issues, concerns and challenges encountered during the
administration of the Pre-Test in PAN. Most of the learners who took the exam via
online (synchronously) met problems with their internet connectivity and some of the
learners have had difficulty in solving routine and non-routinary word problems.
To address the issues, teachers came up with different interventions such as
Project CAPERN, CUBES, Drills (APAW/APAD), providing Three Word Problems a
Week and worksheets.
