II. If given a chance to be the overall in –charge of the National Security Council of the
country, what will be your three (3) priority security programs for your countrymen?
Explain.

- If given a chance to be overall in-charge of National Security Council of the

country, the following would be my three (3) priority program:

• Establish and maintain a National Security Internet Firewall to protect the

Philippines government, large and small businesses, and individual internet
users from fast-developing and virulent threats on the internet.
• Establish an effective Anti-Corruption Task Force to focus on corruption at
every level (all levels of government, and commercial corruption). Every
country has this problem, and it can be ended, to the amazing benefit of all
citizens.
• Establish a National Disaster Planning and Response Task Force,
coordinating resources at all levels of government and encourage corporate
backing, to deal with economic, pandemic, and natural disasters (volcanos,
typhoons, flooding and earthquakes).

All of this would serve to provide the President and his Cabinet with the best
intelligence available to position the Philippines to minimize its security and
natural disaster risks, and to use that information to maximize the Philippines
position with its Regional and Global neighbors for the best possible outcomes
towards long-term peace and beneficial international trade.
