Job Description
FINANCE

Role Description:
The role holder will work closely with the internal business unit to manage annual planning, budgeting,
forecasting, pricing, contracts, and other financial activities. Based on the reports and analysis made, he/she will
be expected to recommend leavers for improving revenue and profitability of the business unit.
This position will act as a hub for business unit financial information. The role holder will be working
collaboratively with the Senior Management and other teams within the organization, providing valuable
business insights to draw key business decisions.
Under this profile, roles may be offered in domains like Pricing, Commercial & Planning, Integration, Mergers &
Acquisition, Private Equity, among others.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage end-to-end business finance function for internal business unit, including various financial activities
within lead to cash process
• Pricing and contract review support in creating value-based commercials both for customers as well as Tech
Mahindra through financial engineering
• Analyze financial performance of the business unit, create concise and clear analysis, including variance
analysis to senior management on financial issues and performance
• Collate, create & produce clear reports communicating compelling messages both for internal and external
stakeholders
• Develop innovative financial models for large client dealings comprising joint venture model and built-
operate-transfer models etc., along with continuous improvements in efficiency and effectiveness
• Review proposals submitted to customers in terms of financial and pricing clauses, analyze the impact and
risks of the proposed financials for the business unit and organization
• Prepare multiple pricing models and scenarios for the business unit based on customer request for proposal
or where multiple organizational investments are made
• Review and recommend legal contractual documents such as Master Service Agreements “MSA”, Statement
of Work “SOW”, Non-Disclosure Agreement “NDA”, and others
• Identify commercial risks and prioritizing, along with proposing risk mitigation framework
• Prepare a strategic plan for contractual and commercial negotiation with customers, vendors and alliance
partners
• Create sophisticated data models from raw data collected through different sources and validations
• Create Executive presentations and dashboard to be presented to Senior Management

Qualification:
MBA/ PGDM in Finance or equivalent

Desired Skills:

• Good team player - Ability to develop and obtain knowledge from cross-functional teams on process and
structures along with good reporting and analytical skills
• Knowledge on statistical packages for analyzing large datasets (SAS, Excel, SPSS, etc.) would be beneficial
• Advanced skills in Microsoft office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Innovative thinker - Innovate ideas to increase efficiency and optimize reporting processes
• Commercial and economic awareness - Awareness of economic factors that can influence the IT outsourcing
• Ability to coordinate with diverse team members from multiple locations
