INTRODUCTION

This project focuses on creating an online pharmacy management system since the

client with multiple branches can control or monitor all of their locations at once. Instead of

manually recording the data, this system will enable them to handle all the information

derived for the pharmacy in order to maintain their business.

My feasibility research revealed that both their "Zapanta Pharmacy" sites found that

they manually record their data using Excel and log books. This sort of recording data

causes them to suffer additional loss and makes it difficult or impossible for them to know if

they have lost money or not. They struggle to recognize these data for all of the things and

customers, especially sales. They gain from this system's ability to manage, monitor, and

record all the data.

Project Context

Every pharmacy should have an Online Management System, especially if they have

several branches, like this "Zapanta Pharmacy" which has two. Instead of manually entering
their data, branch 1 and branch 2 will use this method to manage the data so that they can

conveniently maintain all of the data.

When Pharmacy Zapanta first opened for business, they conducted manual

inventories by physical counts to regularly and continuously monitor the products in the

inventory. Browse the things and go through each medicine. records in a logbook every time

a product is sold in a single day.

Objective of the Study

The general objective of the study was to develop a sign language tutorial for

Filipinos that...

Specifically, it aimed to:

1. Design a Online Inventory Management that:

a) develop a Management Information System (MIS) to automate the management

of a Pharmacy.

b) develop a billing system for points of sales (POS) in the Pharmacy.

c) develop an Inventory Management System so as to record and update products

as well as transactions.

d) build an Executive and Decision Support Systems (ESS and DSS) for the

purpose of business analysis and reporting.

2. Create an online inventory management system with the help of the computer languages

JavaScript, CSS/Bootstrap, HTML, ReactJS, Java, and MySQL. You can also use

Photoshop to edit products and services for marketing purposes.Purpose and Description.

3. test the developed system in terms of:

a. functionality; and

b. portability.

4. evaluate the developed system using the adapted ISO 25010 evaluation

instrument; and
5. prepare the implementation plan.

Purpose and Description

The majority of pharmacies still perform all of their tasks manually; under this

approach, the pharmacist or other staff members must manually handle or monitor all of the

data.

Therefore, the development of a Pharmacy online management system that will be

useful for the Pharmacy is urgently needed to handle this type of problems. We can

generate bills, keep track of the goods very well, save money, and manage inventory control

by utilizing this software. This technology can aid pharmacies in managing incoming and

outgoing transactions more effectively and efficiently. Because it is an online system, they

can manage all the data simultaneously even if he has multiple branches.

This project was focused on creating an online pharmaceutical administration system.

The goal of this project is to handle all derived data for a pharmacy to run their business

through the system rather than manually recording their data, which carries greater risk for

the business to run and to prevent loss.

Time and Place to Study

The study was conducted from October 2022 to January 2023 at General Trias

Cavite, Heneral Dos Subd. "Pharmacy Zapanta" Barangay Pasong Kawayan ll.

Scope and Limitation of the Study

The system's primary tasks include storing, searching, updating, deleting, and editing

medical data. It generates reports on medications, prepares bills, provides pharmacy

navigation and information, and sets warnings when inventory levels drop below the

minimum number required for stock. Only the administrator has access to the pharmacy

system, which is password-protected. The pharmaceutical system is accessible in

accordance with user requirements, is capable of functioning correctly, and performs

transactions effectively, including secure data management. The system is online because

Pharmacy Zapanta has two branches so they can manage data at the same time.

Conceptual Framework

The conceptual framework of the study used the Input-Process-Output model. It

includes the input, the process, and the output of the study. Knowledge, hardware, and

software requirements are part of the input. Knowledge requirements includes System

Analysis design experience, Programming Knowledge, Sales Management, and Inventory

Management. after determining the problems, a solution must be provided and that solution

is in a form of information system that will be written in the programming language where the

researchers has and adequate knowledge. The researchers will use PHP, MySQL and

Bootstrap for the Pharmacy Management Online System is an online/web based platform.

The system cannot work alone without the hardware such as the computer or laptop
devices. The researchers had explained it to the Pharmacies that they need that hardware to

fully utilize the Pharmacy online management system.

The process contains requirements analysis, requirements documentation,

software design, development and testing, and implementation plan. Requirements

analysis includes the analysis of operational, technical, and schedule feasibility.

Software design includes the database and user interface design. Database

programming, program coding, and testing are included in the development and

testing.

The output of these processes is the Online Management System that provides to

monitor or manage the stock, inventory, and sales of Zapanta Pharmacy.
