44 Ignaz Pleyel (1757-1831) was a pianist, composer, and piano manufacturer.

He lived and studied with Haydn frar

the age of fifteen to the age of twenty. Pleyel made several concert tours and founded a piano factory in 1807 in Pari
which became one of the most famous in France. He was a prolific composer and hig works, written in the style of
Haydn, include string quartets, two piano concertos, symphonies, sonatas, and many pieces for piano.
