SERVICE INFORMATION
If an Applied Vehicle has water spillage from the sunroof area, the cause may be a
restricted drain hose. Refer to the Service Procedure below, if this incident should occur.
SERVICE PROCEDURE
1. Once evidence of water spillage as described above has been identified, verify the
vehicle is within the Applied Date/VIN range shown above.
• If the vehicle is within the Applied Date/VIN range shown above, proceed to step 2.
• If the vehicle is NOT within the Applied Date/VIN range shown above, this Bulletin
does not apply. Refer to the appropriate section of the Service Manual for further
diagnostic assistance.
2. To gain access to the lower end of the hose, remove the RH trunk liner, in the area of
the right rear wheelhouse.
3. Find where the hose exits the trunk area, into a grommet in the fender. (See Figure 1)

4. Trace up from the grommet approx. 3" and locate the lower retaining clip for the hose.
(See Figure 1)

5. Remove the clip and straighten the hose.
NOTE: There may be another clip located approx. 6" up from the grommet. DO NOT
REMOVE this clip.
