PROJECT. ENGLISH V. BLOCK II.

ENTRETAINMENT, NEWS AND GOSSIP SHOW


English Project
Fifth Semester

Topics: Reported Speech; Passive Voice; Present, Past or Future required


tenses.

Development:

1. Form teams of 4 members in order to perform your activity.

2. Decide a specific name, logo and slogan of your TV program from your
own creation.

3. Look from the web up 15 different little short news about famous
people in order to be performed in your TV program.
• Characterized famous must say the information (DIRECT SPEECH,
ACTIVE VOICE).
• TV hosts must report the information as a gossip (REPORTED SPEECH,
PASSIVE VOICE).


4. As a team, decide on a famous person (alive or dead) who you would
like to interview.
• Nominate a person to be that famous person.
• Perform an interview to that famous character. (DIRECT SPEECH,
ACTIVE VOICE).

5. Ask questions previously defined to the famous one in order to get


ideas about his/her career, personal life, interests, and plans.
(PRACTICE OF DIFFERENT TENSES).

6. Since you have all your collected information, develop a video where
set an entertainment, news and gossip TV show in order to put in
practice grammar structures analyzed in classes.

• Contextualize your TV program using material and elements can


provide a TV environment.
• Characterize your character using appropriate costumes (TV host,
famous people)
• Take care of sounds and distracting noises can damage your
evidence.
• Take care of the time to be recorded, minimum 3 minutes and
maximum 5 ones.

Evidence

Your final evidence must be delivered as follows:


• Presentation sheet (school and subject data)
• Logo, slogan and picture of yourself as marketing publicity
• Complete speech using ACTIVE VOICE, PASSIVE VOICE, DIRECT
SPEECH, REPORTED SPEECH AND PRACTICE OF DIFFERENT TENSES
structure highlighting statements.
• News research.
• Add self-evaluation answered and rubric to be checked.
• Link where video was uploaded.
