The maps show an industrial area in the town of Norbiton and planned

future development of the site.

The industrial area lies east of the town with the river on its north side.
It currently consists of an empty plot with a T junction blocked off from
the south. The new future developments plan on building a bridge
across the north of the river connecting it to the riverbank where a plot
for housing will be built. The T junction has also been rebuilt to
accommodate more paths connecting shops and housing plots in the
southwest of the industrial area. A medical Center has been built in the
southeast corner of the T junction; right next to which are more
housing plots and a school adjacent to it. The playground is situated
west of the school, in between two more housing plots south of the
river and the farmland. Additionally, an extra path is being built
diagonal to the middle of the T junction and near the shops, one
housing plot will be made parallel to it and another one will be made
right in front of the path, under the northwest side of the river.
This new plan development addition of facilities in the vicinity of the
barren industrial area should provide the town of Norbiton with more
economy, utility, and housing.

It is important for people to take risks, both in their professional lives

and
their personal lives.
Do you think the advantages of taking risks outweigh the
disadvantages?
Some would argue that taking risks, both in terms of one’s private life
and one’s working career, is advantageous overall. I am generally in
agreement with this contention due to the potential for advancement
and growth.
Firstly, risk-taking can be a catalyst in one’s career goals. Many workers
decide early on that they are content with their position in society and
therefore often fail to realise their potential. Others, however, attempt
various business enterprises and transition from field to field to find a
good match. Although this may lead to short-term setbacks, in the long-
term such ambitious individuals are far more likely to become very
successful in life. Assuming that these risks are taken early in one’s
career, there is a strong likelihood that they will eventually profit the
risk-taker in question.
Moreover, an individual who takes risks will also develop more mature
personal relationships. In more conservative countries, many young
people do not begin to have serious romantic relationships until after
university. The result of this is that they are often immature, and it can
lead to poor and naive choices in terms of marriage and parenting. In
contrast, a person who takes risks in their personal life and enters
various relationships throughout high school and university will become
a better judge of character. Their allegedly risky behavior can then
serve as the foundation for personal growth and increased maturity.
In conclusion, taking risks can be a catalyst for tremendous growth and
is therefore advisable. The disadvantages of risk-taking can also be
reduced in most contexts by not being carelessly reckless.
The table details the sources of funding for the police and the pie charts
show the distribution of this budget. It is readily apparent that the
contributions of all sources increased, though local taxes displayed the
most funding growth. In terms of spending, there was an increase in
technology funding, buildings and transport was unchanged, and
salaries declined though this category continued to represent most of
the budget.
In 2017, the national government contributed 175.5 million pounds,
slightly below the number for the following year. Local taxes, in
contrast, were lower overall in both years but grew considerably from
91.2 million to 102.3 million. Other sources, such as grants, were largely
unchanged, rising slightly from 38 to 38.5 million. The total figure grew
by 13.9 million to 318.6 million.
In terms of budgetary allocation, 75% of the budget was devoted to
salaries in 2017 and this figure declined to 69% the following year.
Money for technology nearly doubled, going from 8% to 14%, while
spending on buildings and transport was unaltered at 17% in each year
surveyed.

These days some kids tend to spend a lot of time using their smart
phones. In my experience, this is happening because of the attractive
qualities of these devices such as being able to share media, text and
access content over the internet as well as playing games. This is a
negative process in terms of development. This essay will analyze this
occurence while contributing to my opinion.
To begin with, the main reason behind this trend is the overwhelming
lifestyles of children's parents. As a result of modern culture, now in
most families, both parents do a profession to cover up the bills that
they get. For instance, when they return home after finishing duties,
they are quite happy to give their mobile devices to their children, to
keep away them from disturbing them to finish the household work.
Because of this, children get addicted to these electronics more often
than we saw in the past. So, it is the busy lifestyle of the parents that
attracts children to these gadgets.
The main consequences of this trend have been always negative. First,
it physically weakens the kids. the reason behind this happening is, that
they barely move when they use these gadgets. In addition to the
above, now these juveniles have become more violent because of the
games that they play by using these electronics.
To conclude, I reiterate the overuse of these modern portable
electronics as it is a bad development ,especially among youngsters,
and adults must consider this development while raising their
children. Most importantly, these habits are weakening these kids
physically and mentally so these habits should be paid heed to.
The data given above shows the statistics about how the families in one
country spend their weekly income in 1968 and in 2018.
Families in the 1980s were under much more financial stress.

It is evident that families in 1968 spent a lot more than modern families
on food; around 20% more of their weekly income to be specific. This
can be a direct result of the economic depression and scarcity of food
that was induced due to famines, wars and conflicts. On the other hand,
modern families spend almost 20% of their weekly income on housing,
this is significantly more than what families in the 1980s used to spend;
double of it in fact. This same trend can be spotted in transport and
leisure because modern facilities are much more advanced and this is
ignoring the fact that families in 2018 had a lot more money to spend
and a higher income that that of the families in the 1980s

Some people believe thar professionals as doctors and

enigineers, should be required to work in the country where
they did their training, but others believe they should be free
to work in another country if they wish to. In my opinion, if the
qualifications translate, all individuals should have the
freedom to choose their country of occupation.
Those who are against this practice reinforce the ideology that
professionals owe a debt of gratitude to the location of their
training. Qualified professionals ranging from medical
practitioners and engineers to scientists and teachers at some
point likely relied deeply on resources in their vicinity. It is
therefore logical that these individuals should remain at least
in the same country and contribute their skills to bettering
society. For instance, a doctor who has benefited from quality
schools and government aid in the United States can justifiably
be asked to help their fellow citizens and train future doctors.
However, the right to choose freely where one works and lives
is paramount. Since many professionals will likely end up
remaining where they did their training, this is rarely a
pressing problem in most nations. Given that reality, workers
should not be restricted in their movement and choice of living
environment. When moving to another locale, they will likely
have to ensure their standardization and certification are valid
and learn the intricacies of working in another nation.
However, these are simply individual impediments and should
not be used as definitive counterarguments. Preventing
individuals from working in other countries would also
considerably impair the sharing of expertise and culture
across international borders.
In conclusion, though there are certain standards that must be
reached, all working professionals should be free to work
abroad. This policy is largely already in place for most
occupations.
