and present key factors and findings in a PowerPoint presentation.
REFERENCES are Very important to show you have researched this topic
Assignment:
Requirements
Final Presentation:
Can be approximately 5-15 slides. This is not including title page and reference slide/page. (suggestion)
SUGESTED TOPICs
(if you have another topic just send email for approval)
You can choose a topic outside of the list, but it must be approved and clearly explained in the proposal. You might do
some basic research on a few topics from the list before deciding whether there’s good information on it. Remember
that you are analyzing the issue as it relates to international economics, trade, or business. Be careful not to focus
entirely on tangential matters (like morality, sociology, psychology, etc.).
The project is worth 25% of your final grade. 20% will be for the presentation
The mark for each group member will be individually adjusted, based on the effectiveness of their participation in
the project. It will be based on a peer evaluation, as well as professor evaluation.
The individual adjustment will be multiplicative on the group mark. This means:
Someone who contributes nothing to the group will receive a mark of zero.
Someone who refuses to work with other group members, for example by doing all of the work themselves, or by
excluding other group members who want to contribute, will lose marks.
Someone who is average on individual evaluation will receive a mark equal to the group.
Someone who excels on individual evaluation will receive a higher mark than group mark.
Considerations in your presentation – Is your presentation informative? Did you effectively use concepts and
relationships from the course? Were your conclusions sound. Did we gain noel insights into the topic? Was your
presentation logically structured, clear, and compelling? Were the slides effective? Are you practiced and within
time limit?
