Student’s Answer:
- This course will help me to develop civic consciousness in terms of community serving,
yet I am still a student that is prepared to served my country. While being a good citizen is
already a contribution in the country, it is safe to say that I am already a good citizen
because I follow all the rules and regulations of the country.

That’s why some students are considering the NSTP as a hindrance in final grading, but to
me it is a way to discipline people, to promote nationalism and patriotism. Maybe someday
we are the one’s who will make a great change in the country. Like what Dr. Jose P. Rizal
said “Ang kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan”.

Therefore, I am obliged to promote patriotism and nationalism and show the youth that
NSTP is not only a minor subject but it is a process of becoming a responsible civilians with
a brave heart.
