1. EXT.STI - MORNING | SEPTEMBER 5,2022

Clark (16, wearing a black jacket) is walking through the walkway of

STI, 3 students pass by him, and Quiara (16) is chatting joyfully with
the two pupils standing next to her.

We get a close-up of Clark's face; his face shows a jealous

expression, almost as if he wants to have friends he could laugh with.

2. EXT. CANTEEN - MORNING

A noisy atmosphere greets Clark as students greet each other.

STUDENT 1
(yawning)
Hey...Mornin'

STUDENT 2 (O.C.)
Morning, Did you pull an all-nighter?

STUDENT 1 (O.C.)
(sleepy)
Yeah, I did.

Clark is trying to find a place where there are no students, and

luckily he manages to find one. He settles down, takes his book out of
his backpack, and begins to read.

Clark is once again passed by Quiara and her pals, but he is too
absorbed in reading his book to notice.

In a close-up of Clark's book, we can make out the words, "Life is

like riding a bicycle," which appear there. You must continue moving
if you want to stay balanced.

STUDENT 3 (O.C)
Yooo, they opened the door!

Clark overhears this and immediately stands up and puts on his bag; he
leaves, and we show a book left on a table. A hand comes out and grabs
the book; we see who the hand belongs to as we slowly pan up to their
face, and we see Quiara.

3. INT. CLASSROOM - MORNING

Clark sits down after setting his backpack on his chair. He reaches
into his bag to take out his book, but there is nothing there. He
rummages through his bag before stopping abruptly and looking down.

CLARK (V.O.)
(sigh)
I left it downstairs, didn't I?

In the midst of Clark's existential crisis, he feels a tap on his

shoulder.

QUIARA
Is this yours?

Clark looks at the book.

CLARK
(relieved)
Oh, thank God! Thank you.

Clark tries to grab the book from Quiara, but she dodges his hands,
and his face crumples.

QUIARA
Can you help me with my math homework?

Clark tilts his head.

CLARK
What?

QUIARA
Teach me, and I'll give this back.

CLARK
Ah... Okay.

QUIARA
Perfect! Here you go.

Quiara gently gives the book back to Clark. Clark is relieved that he
finally got his book back.

Clark is about to open his mouth when suddenly the door opens.

SIR JEAN
Alright, class, settle down.

Quiara goes back to her seat.

4.INT. Mezzanine - Day

Clark and Quiara are sitting at a table, and Clark is teaching Quiara
a math equation.

CLARK
So you need to isolate X to get the answer.

Quiara is nodding her head.

QUIARA
So is this the right answer?

CLARK
Yeah.

Quiara is stretching her back.

QUIARA
You're really good at teaching.

CLARK
Thanks.

QUIARA
I mean it; I learned more from you than
from our math teacher.

CLARK
Well, that's because you're familiar with
it, and I just taught it to you again.

QUIARA
That's true.

CLARK
Do you still want to continue?

QUIARA
I think that's fine for today.

CLARK
Okay.

Clark puts his pieces of paper back into his bag and takes out his
book.

QUIARA
You really like reading, huh?

Clark
Yeah.

Clark and Quiara are carrying a box filled with miscellaneous items.
Quiara puts down the box she is carrying and stops to take a breather;
Clark doesn't notice and continues walking.

QUIARA
(exhausted)
Wait!

Clark stops walking - looks at her, and starts walking toward her.

CLARK
Do you need help?

QUIARA
No, I'm fine.

CLARK
It doesn't seem like it.

Clark picks up the box on the floor.

QUIARA
Thanks... Are you sure you can carry all of
that?

CLARK
Yeah.

QUIARA
We still have three more floors to go, you
know.

Clark nods his head and starts going up the stairs.

QUIARA
Hey, wait! Let me at least take a
breather!

Quiara starts going up the stairs as well.

- SEPTEMBER 6, 2022 -

6. INT. STUDENT LOUNGE - DAY

Clark, Quiara, and Mira are occupying a spot in the student lounge. On
their table are a bunch of books and other educational items.

QUIARA
I'm so tired.

Quiara puts her head down on the table. Quiara looks at Clark, who has
earbuds in his ears and is studying diligently.

QUIARA
Hey Clark.

Clark does not hear her. Quiara raises her head and shakes Clark's
hand.

QUIARA
Hey Clark.

Being suddenly shaken snapped Clark out of his focus.

CLARK
Yeah?

Clark takes off his earbuds.

QUIARA
Do you want ice cream?

CLARK
Sure.

Quiara stands up and drags Clark

CLARK
Wait! At least let me clean my stuff.

QUIARA
Ahh, don't worry about it; Mira is here.

Quiara looks at Mira

QUIARA
Mira, can you look over our stuff?

MIRA
No problem.

QUIARA
See, let's go. I want to eat ice cream.

Quiara drags Clark by his arm.

7. EXT. CANTEEN - DAY

Clark and Quiara are sitting next to each other, Quiara is eating ice
cream and Clark is watching her eat. Quiara then nudges Clark to try
her ice cream.

QUIARA
Here, Taste it.

CLARK
Okay.

Clark bites into the ice cream.

CLARK
Ugh, yuck. What flavor is that?

QUIARA
Hahahaha.

Clark wipes his mouth. She sees Quiara laughing, and Clark becomes
dazed; he smiles while looking at her and then laughs with her.

CLARK (V.O.)
I never knew small moments like this could
bring me so much joy.

- SEPTEMBER 8, 2022 -

8. INT. STUDENT LOUNGE - MORNING

Clark is studying intensely; Quiara is behind him, and she suddenly

puts her hand on Clark's eye.

CLARK
(not angry)
Hey!

Clark removes Quiara's hand from his eyes, and when he looks at her,
she sees her laughing.

QUIARA
Sorry sorry, You were just so focused
hahaha.

CLARK (V.O.)
I'm confused about how these tiny moments
can give me so much joy.

9. INT. CLASSROOM - DAY

Clark and Quiara are sitting next to each other, Quiara is laughing
her ass off, and she hits Clark's shoulder as she is laughing.

CLARK
Ow, that hurts!

QUIARA
Hahaha, I can’t.

We get a closeup of Clark's laughing face in slow motion.

CLARK (V.O)
I didn't notice it at first, but as I spent
more days with her, it became apparent to
me.

CLARK (V.O.)
I started wanting her company.

10. INT.CLASSROOM - day (this scene is fast-paced and has no

dialogue),

Clark is sitting alone in his seat when suddenly Quiara introduces her
friends (Axel and Jenny).

CLARK(V.O)
She taught me how to make friends.

Kio sees this and approaches them. He waves at them and talks,

He takes out a piece of gum from his pocket and gives it to everyone.

Kio’s friends see this and also join in; they start talking, Kio makes
a joke, everyone laughs, and we show Clark smiling happily.

CLARK (V.O)
Meeting her has been rewarding.

11. INT. CLASSROOM- Morning

We are inside a classroom filled with laughter and noises from

students talking to each other.

We get a close-up of a wristwatch on a table that shows the time and

date, and suddenly a hand comes out of nowhere and picks it up.

KIO
There you are.

After Kio gets the watch, he wears it and sits next to Clark, who is
reading.

The door opens and out come three students. (Axel, Kenji, and Sean

KIO
You guys!

Kio waves toward the four newcomers and stands up to greet them

AXEL
(annoyed)
I swear you’re as loud as a siren.

KENJI
Morning Kio.

SEAN
Energetic as always, huh?

Kio gives a high five to each of them. Kio, Axel, and Kenji’s voices
become muffled as we focus our attention on Clark’s watch.

CLARK (V.O)
Where’s Quiara?

Clark asks Axel a question.

CLARK
Hey, uh, Axel, do you know where Quiara is?

Axel
Hmm, I don’t know. Maybe she's sick.

JENNY
Well, this isn’t the first time.

The door opens, and Clark thinks that it’s Quiara.

MR. JEAN

But it’s just Mr. Jean.

CLARK
(Internal dialogue)
Is Quiara, ok?

Clark stares at the door.

12. INT. Hallway - Day

Clark is with Kio, Sean, Axel, Jenny, and Mira. Clark is behind
looking sad and looks at the Souvenir that Quiara gave him.

13. EXT. Canteen - Day

Clark is with the boys, and they are laughing while eating, but
Clark is not, after a while Clark tells them that he needs to go
somewhere and leaves.

14. INT.Classroom - Day

MR. Jean “Class dismissed”

Everyone stands up to leave, and Kio comes next to Clark.

Kio “Wanna go to SM?”

Clark “Sorry I’ll be heading home, for now, maybe next time”

16. Int.Classroom

Clark is once again reading his book when suddenly he sees someone's
hand covering it. He looks up and sees Quiara.

Quiara "Surprised?"

Clark looks surprised

Clark “Why were you absent?”

Quiara “Well nothing much, I just had a Doctor’s appointment

yesterday”

As Quiara is about to open her mouth, Mr. Jean comes in and everyone
goes back to their seats.

Quiara “I’ll tell you later”

Clark nods his head.

Cut to:

17. INT. Stairs - Day

Clark and Quiara are climbing up a flight of stairs carrying boxes,

and as they reach the end of the flight of stairs, Quiara speaks.

Quiara (exhausted, out of breath) “...Wait”

Clark grabs the box from Quiara and puts it down.

Clark (looks concerned) "Hey, are you okay?”

Quiara puts a hand on her chest.

Quiara (exhausted) “Can we take a break?”

Clark “Yeah of course”

They sit down.

Clark: “Do you need to go to the clinic?”

Quiara nods her head.

18. INT.Clinic/outside - Day

Clark is waiting outside of the clinic, and Quiara comes out.

Clark asked, “Is everything fine now?”

Quiara “Yeah, they told me to head home”

Clark “I’ll accompany you until you get home”

Quiara “Thank you.”

19. EXT.STI walkway - Afternoon

both of them are walking - Clark stops.

Clark “Can I ask something?”

Quiara "Sure.”

Clark, “You said you had a doctor’s appointment yesterday. Was it

something concerning your heart?”

Quiara “...Yeah”

Quiara sits down, and Clark also sits down.

Clark “What did they say?”

Quiara (Hesitant) “...They told me that my heart disease is getting

worse”

Clark is surprised but remains calm.

Clark “I didn’t know you have a heart disease.”

Quiara “well you’re the first person I’ve told outside my family”

Clark is silent.

Quiara “they told me that it gets worse when I don’t drink my meds,
but…”

Quiara becomes sad.

Quiara “My family is struggling with the medical bills… and we can't
afford them anymore."

CLARK “Sorry…"

Quiara (sniffs)“It’s okay, I’m fine now”

Clark stands up and offers his hand to help her up. She grabs it and
stands up.

Quiara “...Thank you.”

Clark is in class talking with his friends.

Axel “Quiara’s been absent for a few days now… I’m getting worried”

21.INT. STUDENT LOUNGE - 1:45

Clark is sitting alone on a table in the student lounge. He is looking

at his messages with Quiara who hasn't seen his messages since 5 days
ago.Clark is about to close his phone but sees Quiara’s reply.

Quiara
Hey.

CLARK
Hey, what happened? Is everything okay?

QUIARA
I was rushed to the hospital.

CLARK
What! Are you okay?

CLark is frantically typing on his phone.

Quiara
Is it okay if I call you?
Clark
Sure, I’ll just find a quiet place.

22.EXT. (sabihin ko nalang kung saan kasi di ko maexplain)

Ring ring Clark picks up the phone.

Clark
…Hey, why'd you get rushed to the hospital?

The doctors told me that too much plaque is
inside my arteries.

CLARK
Can they do anything to clear up the
plaques? Does medicine work?

QUIARA
Yes, but we do not have any money to afford
the medicine.

CLARK
Your health is more important.

QUIARA
I know but we can’t afford it

CLARK
I will find a way.

QUIARA
How? Clark, I don’t want to burden you with
this. My parents will find a way.

CLARK
You’re too important to me, I can’t just do
nothing while you’re here struggling.

Silence ensues until Clark breaks the silence

Clark ends the call and starts contemplating on what to do. Clark thinks of
his father and a thought appears.

Clark and Quiara are on a call.

QUIARA (phone)
(weakly)
Hey, are you okay?

CLARK
I should be the one saying that.

QUIARA
Haha.

CLARK
How's your health?

QUIARA
If I'm being honest, it's pretty bad

How bad?

QUIARA
They said if I don't take any medication, I might need
surgery but…

CLARK

I know, (sighs) I’m sorry if I can't help you

Even when I said that I will.

Kenji, Sean, Jenny, and Kio talk to each other. They are talking about
Quiara and Clark. Axel and Clark are not around.

KENJI
Don’t you think that Clark is acting
strange lately?

JENNY
Yeah, he seems troubled about something.

KIO
I think it's about Quiara. I heard she
doesn’t have the money to pay her medical
bills.

We are in a library; Clark is sitting alone doing his homework when

all of a sudden, his phone vibrates.

Opening his phone, he sees a message.

"5 missed calls”

“You might be busy right now, but I HAVE GOOD NEWS, Some anonymous
person paid for my medical bills!”

A pained expression appears on his face as he turns off his phone.

26. INT. CLASSROOM - 9:35 - 1 DAY LATER

The classroom is filled with noise because a teacher is not present.

Clark is sitting alone in his seat.

KIO
Hey, Clark, are you okay?

Clark gives a soulless reply.

CLARK
Yeah.

KIO
It doesn't seem like it.

Clark (sad)
Sorry, Kio, but can you leave me alone for
a while?

Kio
Ah... ok sorry.

Kio leaves while looking worriedly at Clark. Kio nudges Sean

Hey, don't you think Clark has been acting

We focus our attention at the back of Clark and Axel as Kio mumbles a

Quiara's Pov

The doctor enters the room.

DOCTOR
Ok so today, I am going to discuss your health.

Quiara nods.

DOCTOR

been treated and there is good news.

Closeup to Quiara, listening carefully.

DOCTOR
The good news is in two days, you

Clark leaves the mezzanine. Quiara sees the clark leaving. Closeup on
Quiara’s face, seems confused.

28.INT. HALLWAY - NEXT DAY

Quiara walks to the classroom all by herself. The elevator is still

not working. In the hallway, Quiara and Clark pass by each other.

QUIARA
Hey Clark!

Clark pretends that he didn’t notice Quiara, he walks and passes by

her.

Quiara’s eyes chase Clark as he moves away.

Mr.Jean asks about something again in the class.

Classes have ended. Students finally leave the classroom.

Clark is packing his things up and getting ready to leave. but Quiara
holds his hands to stop him.

Quiara cries. Until a few seconds, Quiara grabs her chest and falls to
the ground.

Clark's face is worried.

People looked at Clark and Quiara but no one helped.

Clark lifted Quiara and he carried Quiara to the
elevator but it is taking a long time to wait for the
elevator.

CLARK
Oh, please!

Quiara’s face shows that she is dying.

Clark doesn’t have a choice and just takes the stairs.

So Clark patiently carried Quiara down the stairs.

Some students are loitering so Clark bumps into them
just to bring Quiara to the hospital.

CLARK
People, please excuse us, excuse us please!

After they get out of the school building, if

possible, that day is a rainy day so it rains while
Quiara is being carried by Clark while running to go
to the hospital.

carrying Quiara outside while being soaked in the

Quiara and Clark cries while they are speaking.

QUIARA

Quiara’s eyes closed.

Clark hugs Quiara while crying.

An ambulance siren is heard in the background.

31.MEZZANINE - AFTERNOON - SAME DAY

Sean, Kio, Axel, Jenny, and Kenji are in the mezzanine, they all look
worried.

AXEL
We must calm down.

JENNY
Everyone, it’s gonna be okay, just calm
down.

Jenny suddenly runs out of the Mezzanine. Then the other four of them
followed Jenny out of the Mezzanine. They are aiming to go to the
hospital.

JENNY (INTERNAL DIALOUGE)

I hope she’s okay.

Jenny is looking worried while they run.

32.HOSPITAL - AFTERNOON

CLARK IS TALKING TO A DOCTOR IN A HALLWAY.

CLARK
How is Quiara?

DOCTOR ALBERT
Unfortunately, Quiara has passed away.

CLARK
(Angry)
You said you could do it!

DOCTOR ALBERT
Calm down!

CLARK
Calm down?! After all of this, the only
thing you can say is calm down.

You promised that Quiara will get better,
that you will Save her, then why is this
happening dad!?

CLARK
Did you forget that we have a deal?

A nurse suddenly appears and calls the doctor.

The doctor, the nurse, and Clark rush to the hospital room. The doctor
and the nurse enter the room and Clark is stopped by the nurse.

NURSE
Please just stay here sir.

By the window of the door, Clark cries. He is stomping the door while
speaking.

CLARK
Please stay alive! I want to be with you.

CLARK
I want your smiles!

CLARK
I want your hug!

CLARK
I want to eat ice cream again with you!

CLARK
I want to watch movies with you!

I love you!

Clark sits in front of the door while crying.

The people that pass look at Clark.

Sean, Kio, Axel, Jenny, and Kenji arrive at the hospital. They saw
Clark beside the room of Quiara. They ran to Clark and comforted him.
Clark continues to cry. Jenny sat beside Clark and she puts Clark’s
head on her shoulder.

JENNY
Clark it’s okay, it’s gonna be okay.

SEAN
We will not leave you Clark, we will always be here.

They will all cry. Please make this scene a little long.

34.STI ENTRANCE

Clark enters the school compound and checks his temperature. We focus
on the clock on his watch.

CLARK
Ohh, I am early today (happy)

Clark walks happily. He rides the elevator happily. He happily meets

Jenny, Axel, Sean, Kio, and Kenji in the classroom.

JENNY
Hi Clark, how are you today?

CLARK
I’m so fine thank you.

Clark cries.

Jenny, Sean, Kio, Axel, and Mira come to where Clark is and they sit
beside him while Clark is crying. They are all looking at the sky.
