David Contant
Maitre Cuisinier de France
David Contant, multi-awarded winning chef of french origin, graduate of the macon en saone et
loire hotel school is a Maitre Cuisinier de France, Master teacher of Escoffier international
culinary academy in romania and member of Disciples escoffier international.
He held an essential role being instrumental in launching the George Blanc International Concept
along with the memorable experience as a Chef at the legendary 3 * Michelin restaurant George
Blanc of Vonnas, France. David holds a French CAP degree in culinary arts, a professional license
in hospitality, and HACCP and ISO certificates in hygiene, quality, vacuum cooking and management
systems.
A tireless supporter of the "clean" kitchen and wanting to control the whole process taking
benefit from the healthiest and freshest products, David Contant bought a plot of land in Romania,
by a charming coincidence, in Contesti, Dambovita County
- where, together with his wife of romanian
origin they developed a vegetable farm and an orchard. Also he built his own network of
producers who gladly offer the famous french chef their products to be transformed into real
refined fine dining creations.
