sourcing information, and organizing speech content? Complete the chart below.

Aspects/Elements Things to Remember/Consider

Audience In audience-centered speaking, getting to

know your target audience is one of
the most important tasks that you
face. You want to learn about the
major demographics of the
audience, such as general age,
gender, education, religion, and
culture, as well as to what groups
the audience members belong.

Organization • The accuracy of the data, including the

measurement and identification of
error.

• The data volume.

with careful word selection, and a
dry subject can become interesting.

content writing, requires careful
consideration of word choice. You
can maximize your influence on
your audience by choosing exact
terms.

that is arranged and makes sense to
you. Link it, consider it at night,
and utilize it for distributive
practice.

Grammatical Correctness Avoiding misconceptions and making

yourself understandable to the
other person are key. You will find
it more difficult to express your
ideas and thoughts clearly and
concisely and communication will
be slowed down if your English is
too full of errors.

• Think of your personal interests,

knowledge and experiences that
you can apply on your speech

account. It should be trustworthy,
practical, provide all necessary
information, and be current.

the demands, needs, and interests
of the readers and have a distinct
identity.

Outlining and Organizing Speech Content An organized speech is both simpler to

present and more persuasive, as
most speakers and audience
members would agree. ... The
majority of impromptu speakers
carry their outlines with them to
keep them on track and make sure
they don't forget anything vital.
