Microsoft Remote Connectivity Analyzer will help to determine domain-wide issues in the autodiscover configuration while the Test E-
mail AutoConfiguration tool is useful with the situations where one or several users are affected.
Outlook tool (the Test E-mail AutoConfiguration tool) 
Online tool (Microsoft Remote Connectivity Analyzer)

Outlook tool
This subsection applies to Outlook for Windows clients only. Outlook for Mac does not have Test E-mail AutoConfiguration tool
available.

To run the test:

1. While Outlook is running, hold down the CTRL key, right-click the Outlook icon in your system tray or notification area (lower right
corner of computer screen), and then select Test E-mail AutoConfiguration.

 
2. Enter your email address and password.
3. Clear the checkboxes next to Use Guessmart and Secure Guessmart Authentication. Make sure that Use AutoDiscover is selected.
4. Click the Test button. It may take up to a minute before the test is complete.

Online tool
To test Email Autoconfiguration for your domain without Outlook use the online tool provided by Microsoft.

To run the test:

1. Enter your primary email address (UPN) into both Email address and Domain\User Name fields
2. Enter your mailbox password into the Password field
3. Select Use Autodiscover to detect server settings 
4. Enter the captcha and click Verify 
5. Check the box next to "I understand that I must use the credentials of a working account from my Exchange domain to be able to
test connectivity to it remotely. I also acknowledge that I am responsible for the management and security of this account."
6. Click Perform Test.
