As per the Landlord and tenant Act 1985 (Under Section 8 & 11), The Housing Act 2004 (Schedule 4, part 2 & 3) and British Electrical

in domestic premises to have a non-combustible enclosure. Your current consumer unit an combustible material which is classified as fire
risk.
3. Home insurer has zero tollarence in regards to the electrical & gas safety of any preoperty. There are records available of refusing
insurance due to the safety certification failur.
