Kindergarten here I

come!

.
Georgia is starting
Kindergarten at a new school
this year! This is a big and
scary life event for her. She is
very nervous and not sure
what to think of
Kindergarten.
Georgia's mother says "It is
going to be such a fun day
for you no need to be
scared. Dad and I are going
with you to meet your
teacher and will be right by
your side!"
Still very scared Georgia
decided to hide in her room
so she doesn't have to leave
the house.
"Georgia it's time to leave the
house" yells her mother.
"Georgia where are you, we
need to go," says her father.
Both concerned they begin
to look for Georgia.
They looked behind the
couch.

No Georiga.
They looked around the
kitchen.

No Georgia.
They looked EVERYWHERE
but couldn't find her. Where
could she be?
Out of nowhere, they heard
crying. Where was Georgia?
Is she hurt? "Georgia?!" yelled
her mom again.

Gerogia
Georgia finally ran out of her
room and into her parent's
arms. "what's wrong Georgia"
asked her mom.
"I am scared to go to
Kindergarten. I don't know
anyone and I want to stay
home "said Georgia.
"Sweetheart, don't be scared.
Kindergarten is a lot of fun.
There will be a lot of new kids
who are ready to make
friends and your teachers
are ready to have a fun year
with you" said her dad.
"New friends?" asked
Georgia. "Yes, a lot of new
friends" replies her mom.
"I guess I can give it a try,"
Georgia nevously says.

Friends?
They get in the car and head
to the school. On the way,
they listen to Georgia's
favorite song from kids bop
to help keep her calm!
They get out of the car at the
school and hold hands with
one another. Her parents tell
her it is all going to be okay
and they are going to be
right there with her!
Once inside, they walk to her
classroom. Georgia loves her
room! She meets her teacher
and loves her too! "My
teacher is so nice," Georgia
tells her parents standing
behind her.
"Georgia, you should go talk
to those kids over there
playing. Maybe they will let
you play with them."
Georgia still a little scared
decided to walk over and
meet some new freinds!

They began to play and have

a blast together!
"Georgia I think it's time to
leave" says her dad.

"Dad, I am having so much

fun can I stay here?" stated
Georgia.
Georgia's parents did make
her leave but she is so
excited to go to kindergarten
everyday!

"Kindergarten isn't scary, It's

fun" says Georgia.
