INTRODUCTION
Analysis book is one of the forms to determine the quality of a book, in the sense that
the book used for students and teachers have appropriate material or not. As we know that the
book is a guide for teachers in implementing the learning that includes the preparation,
execution, and assessment as well as guidelines for the use of the student book.
Student book is a source of learning for students, which includes: title of the chapter,
the basic competencies of information in accordance with the chapter topic. In each chapter
comes with a concept map, introduction, part of student activities both experimental and non-
experimental or discussions, exercises, summaries, evaluations, and assignments for students.
The book should also be in accordance with less basic competency, adequacy and depth of
the material, as well as the suitability of the learning and assessment approaches.

means cooperation. It almost is same with blue colour, that the students can help each other if
they find difficulties in understanding about material in this book. So that their can be an
active learners. Overall all the colour is combined to make the students interested with this

Chapter II
Discussion
From the results we have done analysts are starting to read the book, understand the
material, and determine what will be in the value and analyzed as well as describe it.

In the third chapter the topic is “Ouch! It Hurts!” In this topic the students will learn the
expression of pain, relief, pleasure and displeasure. The students will try to express
their face based on the expression which available. It will make the students interested.
This book can attract the students beside the topic very interested, there are alot of
picture inside and the picture very suitable with the condition so the students will easier
to understand about the material.

Analysis :
This book use a simple word, so the students will not fell confuse in read it. For the
senior high school it is very effective to use as guide the teacher to teach. All the
chapter in this book use the simple statement. It is a good text book.

CHAPTER III
CONCLUSION
After read and analyse this book I make decision that this book is good enough and can
to use as the teacher guide in teaching english subject in eleventh grade. From the
cover, syllabus, material every chapter, task, games e.tc very interest and construct.
This book is illustration and design very good. As the English teacher we have to use a
good sourches in order we present a good knowledge to the learners.

And based on analyse the text that showing in every chapter that this book is suitable
for the eleventh grade students of senior high school.
Based on 10 Criteria from Greene and Petty all the criteria are there in this book.
