the Trainer’s Methodology I. For today, in

Utilizing Electronic Media for Facilitating
Training, I am going to show you how to
project a power point presentation through
the correct installation of the equipments.
On the video camera, is Ms/Mr.

To start the demonstration, first we must

gather the equipments or resources
needed.
 Laptop
 Projector
 Power cord/cable for the laptop and
projector
 VGA (video graphics array)
 Extension wire
 Speaker
 Microphone
Before we start on the installation of the
equipment, we must follow these certain
reminders in handling the LCD Projector

1. Place the LCD projector in a sturdy

flat surface.
2. Do not block opening (ventilation) of
the projector
3. Do not drop liquid or object to
projectors
4. Do not install projectors near the
source of heat
5. Do not unplug projectors after
turning it OFF. LCD projectors are
equipped with cooling fans that
automatically turn off after meeting the
projectors cooling temperature; this will
prolong the life of the expensive
powerful lamp of your projector
 6. Do not look into the projector’s lens
with the lamp is on. The bright light may
hurt or damage your eyes
7. Do not use lens cap when projector
is on operation
8. Refer servicing to qualified service
personnel

PARTS OF THE PROJECTOR AND ITS

FUNCTIONALITY

Process in connecting the projector to the

laptop
1. First, we need to connect the VGA
cord to the VGA port of the laptop
2. Next, we need to connect the other
end of the VGA cord to the VGA port of
the projector
3. Next, we need to ensure the correct
orientation of the port to avoid
damaging of the pins
4. Then, the power cord, we need to
connect the power cord to the power
port of the projector
5. Next, we need to plug in the main
plug to the power supply
6. Also, we need to plug in the main
plug of the Bluetooth speaker to the
power supply
7. Connect the microphone to the
Bluetooth speaker by plugging in the
cord
8. Next we need to connect our
Bluetooth speaker to the laptop for the
audio
9. We need to turn on our Bluetooth
speaker first
10. After connecting the Bluetooth
speaker to the laptop and also to the
projector, let’s try the functionality of
the Bluetooth and the projector
11. We need to turn on the projector
then wait for a few seconds or even
minutes for its functionality
12. As you can see on the screen, it
projected well
13. As you can also observe, The
Bluetooth speaker is now functional
 Zoom in and out
 Focus if blurry
 Elevate
14. So now, all the electronic medias
gathered are now utilized for facilitating
training
TO DISCONNECT:
1. Turn off projector but do not unplug
for safety purposes
2. Loose the screws of the VGA cord
from the VGA port
3. Disconnect all cables or cord from
end to end
4. Turn off the Bluetooth speaker,
disconnect the microphone from the
speaker
5. Unplug the cord of the Bluetooth
speaker from the main plug
6. Turn off your laptop by pressing the
shutdown menu
7. Unplug the laptop cord or cable from
the main plug
8. Place the projector and its
accessories to the projector bag.
