I would be coming from a muggle cultural anthropological perspective.

The sorting hat ceremony would be very strange to us muggles. The scenes of a floating hat
being placed on a child to determine where they will live, and who they will live with, what
characteristic these kids, and basically a hat telling the child who they will be.

1. What observations have you made about food habits of the individuals you
are studying? (1 points) (Think of this: Do you notice differences or similarities
in the types of foods or eating habits?)  Pretty similar food habits to us. I
would say maybe a little more strange looking food, but really similar amounts
of intake and times.
2. What are the observations you've made regarding how this society or
individual has adapted to their environment (Think of this: Do you notice any
special inventions or technologies) (2 points). They have adapted in use of
magic for transportation, there are not a lot of roads to each place given they
can fly on broomstick. Their environment is adapted to magic and usually
revolved around, or includes magic.
3. Do you think it would be difficult to maintain your cultural relativity within this
new culture? (1 point) I do not believe so, I believe it would be easy to just tell
myself “I know nothing” and just learn from their culture.
4. When engaging with this society, do you think you would experience culture
shock in particular circumstances? As the observer, what experiences do you
think those would be? (2 points) Absolutely there would be major culture
shock, the people might look the same, and eat the same, but there would be
major changes someone would have to make to live in this culture. They do
have similar group gathering around events, friend groups, and other similar
cultural aspects, but majority there would be a massive culture shock.
5. Finally, for a little fun, what would the title of your Ethnography or Ethnology
be based on your research? (1 point) Muggle to Mischief; A look being the
magic mirror.
