Welcome,

we are Toplitz Productions and this is our Medieval Dynasty Artbook.

It is a small window into our creative process, and a glimpse of what our
next project is about. In it, you will see never-before-published artworks
from Medieval Dynasty and a few words about them.

We hope that this artbook will be as fun for you to read as it was for us
to make it.

First, a few words about our company. Toplitz Productions is named after
the mystic “Toplitz Lake” which is situated in a dense mountain forest
high up in the Alps. Our main office locations are based in Austria and
Germany, and we collaborate with dedicated development studios across
the world. The studio which is working on the Medieval Dynasty, Render
Cube, is located in Poland, Łódź. In the past, some team members FARMER’S DYNASTY is a game that mixes elements of a life

this one will be the biggest one we ever did - both in terms of size, scope,

Time Travel
Imagine you were born earlier - but not in our parents‘ or grandparents‘
time. Much earlier. Imagine you live in Europe in the Middle Ages. What
do you see? In front of you lies an open plain, forests, animals, rivers,
mountains, and the ever-changing seasons. All of this is yours. And in
this place, your dynasty begins. You can become a ruler of this land.

Being a leader of a tribe comes with many privileges and great
responsibilities. As your tribe grows, you will need to provide them with
food and shelter. You will also be able to trade between other dynasties,
giving you prosperity but also envy, distrust, and greed. You must lead
wisely and turn your simple village into a town fit for a king! But most
importantly, you have to ensure your bloodline’s place in history and
create a dynasty that will rule for generations. After all, your name lives
on with those that you leave behind.

your settlement. It’s simple and modest - but it is your home. It‘s up to
you to decide what happens next. Will more inhabitants come as your
village grows? Will it survive the impending winter? Will you expand it
and establish connections with other villages around you? Everything
depends on you and the choices that you’ll make.

Buildings (Smithy, Hen House, Hunting Lodge) Hunting

In your settlement, you can build a lot of different buildings that serve

to raise animals, and go into the wild to hunt and gather. And remember,
plan your actions carefully and always be prepared.

Animals
There are many different animals in Medieval Dynasty. From domestic
animals (pig, cow, horse, chicken, etc.) to wild ones hiding everywhere
around in the surrounding lands (bear, wolf, rabbit, wild pig, etc.).

Tools
How should a man survive without his tools? They allow you to work
faster and more efficiently. You have a variety of tools available to
you, including axes, knives, scissors and more. It is entirely up to your
imagination what you can do with them.

Work
Life in medieval times is not just about getting food. You have to work
to survive. To build a house, you need wood. To get that wood, you need
to cut it down in the forest. In order to survive the winter, warm clothes
are needed. To make them, it is necessary to weave a fabric from which
clothes can be sewn. These are just a few examples of the work you have
to do to increase your chances of survival.

Character /Clothes
With Medieval Dynasty, we wanted the people and characters to look
as authentic as possible. We spent many hours researching the typical
garments that people would’ve worn in those times. The clothes were
made from fabrics like flax, fur, and leather.

From Early Access to 1.0

From the moment Medieval Dynasty entered its Early Access phase, we
wanted to work together with our community in shaping what Medieval
Dynasty will become. The artworks that you will see here are a result
of not just our artists, but also of the feedback we received from our
community; on how the game plays, the content it receives, and what the
community would like to see.
