About the Symposium
The course builds from the big ideas in finite
element analysis and computational fluid
dynamics to ANSYS case studies that progress
from real world applications and examples.
ANSYS is the flagship engineering software
which is a numerical and computational method
used to solve the real engineering problems
related to physics, structural analysis, heat
transfer, fluid flow, mass transport, and
electromagnetic potential field. To solve the
problem, it subdivides a large problem into
smaller, simpler parts that are called finite
elements and solve the problem by minimizing
an associated error function. We would like to

About PVG, COET & GKP(W)OIM
The parent institute Pune Vidyarthi Griha (PVG)
is a well-known charitable institution of
Maharashtra, established in 1909, by a group of
dedicated and visionary educationists. The
primary mission of the Institute is to provide
progressive and value-added education facilities
to the deserving, poor students of the society.
Today, the institution has grown into a big banyan
tree with its branches at Pune, Mumbai, and
Nashik under its umbrella. PVG governing
various institutions, conducts a wide spectrum of
education programs from Pre-primary to Higher
education, in professional fields like Engineering
& Technology, Management, Computer Science,
and Commerce & Science etc. The Institute also
runs the Research Institute of Communication
Technology to nurture thirst for research and
innovative minds. PVG has been the only
institute in India, which has striven hard for
professional education in the Printing field since
1926 and has taken lead in establishing degree
and diploma in Printing Engineering and
Communication Technology, approved by the All
India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
PVG has a modern Printing Press and
Publications division. It has published mainly
technical books, which are standard & very
popular.
Established in 1985, Pune Vidyarthi
Griha’s College of Engineering and Technology
& G.K. Pate (Wani) Institute of Management
(formerly known as College of Engineering and
Technology) is affiliated to the Savitribai Phule
Pune University (SPPU) and accredited ‘A’ Grade
by NAAC in 2nd cycle. It is one of the reputed
engineering colleges in India. In 2020, the
institute has merged with G. K. Pate (Wani)
Institute of Management for the management
programme. It runs the undergraduate
programmes for Printing, Mechanical,
Electronics and Telecommunication, Electrical,
Computer, Information Technology and Artificial
Intelligence-Data Science along with MBA as
Post-graduation programme.
About Mechanical Department
Department of Mechanical Engineering was
established in 1991. Department was accredited
by NAAC and NBA in year 2002 and 2006. In
2013 department also got approval as Research Prof. T. D. Jadhav (9881896283)
centre of SPPU. In year 2016 3D-PLM lab in Prof. K.D. Agashe (8412050473
