THE BUSINESS

A. Description of the Business

Flowers Express is a flower shop that aims to produce an affordable and long

lasting flowers not only for the Basista National High School but also in other

Municipalities. We’re highly recommending this product for the people who wants to

save money for the upcoming month of love. We used papers to make flowers

because Filipinos loves cheap but adorable products and paper is long lasting thing

and also not so expensive.

The business proponents assure that people will love their products because

it has various colors that symbolizes different feeling. These characteristics made the

business unique and special. It caters all the feelings for different target customers

such as res for those who are in relationship, pink for single but ready to mingle,

yellow for no label, white for family and friends, orange for those who belong in

considered as a friend only, blue for those who want to forget their ex

boyfriends/girlfriend, purple for “torpe”, black for a bitter person or broken, peach for

those who are waiting for someone and the proponents also offers rainbow flower for

those belong to the LGBT community and lastly they offer bouquet flowers. We also

offer delivery to the other municipality and the price is based on the distance of the

shop to the receiver.

We will be successful in this business because people nowadays loves cheap

but long-term products and our product which is flower made in paper is really

durable, long lasting, and especially not too expensive.

In every business there’s ups and downs. With regards to this business, we

are task to do something creative that will surely be impressive to everyone and will

lead to a successful entrepreneurship. Since, valentine’s day is coming, we had to

choose to sell our handmade bouquet of paper flowers. Within the time frame which

is given to us there is many circumstances that we had experience but then,

struggles were given and we are not going to endure this staff, instead we exerted

our full effort and give the very best to make this business possible. No matter what

will be the outcome, we will be going to be brave and will continue to pursue our

agenda for this kind of opportunity which has given to us.

Delivery Service We offer delivery service to those buyers who were busy to

buy flowers personally or those who were busy doing other

task. The benefit of delivery service is that buyers will just

call us and everything will be alright.

Flowers made of papers We use papers because it is not to expensive so we can do

flowers with affordable price and if we sell true flowers

there’s possibility that some of customers can’t afford to buy

our product because it is too expensive.

 Colored Paper-This is the main object used in our product. This paper has a

lot of colors but we only choose red, blue, purple, pink, white, orange, yellow

and black. The colors of the papers will symbolize the feelings of the buyers.

 Kawayan Stick-For the stem of flower, the kawayan is cut into small pieces

and it is covered with green colored paper.

 Glue-This is also the main object that helps to paste the colored papers

together.

 Yarn-A white yarn that is used to tie the small piece of colored paper located

at the lower stem of the flower. The buyers can write their message on the

card.

 Plastic cover-this is plastic used to cover the single flower to look more

presentable.

Product Strategies

“Express your feelings through flowers”

The business will offer durable product with inexpensive price. The

proponents of the business also make delivery system so even if the customers are

far from the shop they can buy the product.

The proponents came up with this idea to describe the feelings of the buyers.

It is really unique because through

somebody by giving it to them.

Promotional Strategies

The business proponents intend to promote the product through the use of

social media specifically the use Facebook because most of target customers are

using Facebook. Customers can visit the Flowers Express page on Facebook so

they will know about different colors and also the services offered. If they have some

questions to ask they will message page so the proponents will easily answer their

questions.

The business proponents intend to sell affordable and pleasurable flowers for

everyone.

The price is on low price to make it

affordable to the customers.

Bouquet Php. 50.00

The price of the bouquet is also on its

affordable price.

Delivery Fee The price for the delivery service has three

options: Php. 5.00 within the Basista

National High School, Php. 10.00 for 5-10

kilometer and Php. 25.00 for 10-20

kilometer.

E. Location

The location of the business is at the De Leon of Basista National High

School. The main target customers are students and teacher therefore; the location

is a great place to sell the product.

F. Competition

In every business there are lot of competitors, flower express has a lot of

competitors like Basista Flower Shop and because many people are going there to

buy flowers. The proponent’s business will intend to have better operation and to

become better that competitors.

The business operation will tend to have a good feature to attract more

customers (wherein people are unfamiliar, will likely attract because of our product).

G. Management and Operation

The purpose of management and operation plan is to show how the function

of business is on containing basis. The highlight of the operation plan is the logistic

of the organization such as the different tasks of the team. The responsibility of each

member within the company, capital and expense requirements related to the

operation of the business.
