INTRODUCTION

 How will college students improve their overall grade from their freshman
year to their upper-class years.

Purpose of the research:

 To demonstrate that attribution therapy can be successful when certain

recent findings in social cognition are taken into account.

METHODOLOGY

What is the methodology for the research or approach used to understand the
issue? Provide information regarding the following:

Overview: College freshman showed interviews of upper-class students

improving their grades overtime.
Subjects: Target groups are first time college freshman

Procedure: Videotapes of interviews from upperclassman explaining how

their GPAs went up from their freshman year. They would compare them to
college dropouts.

Dependent Measures: The type of environment and surrounding the

freshman was currently living in, stress level of being overwhelmed and
nervousness.

RESULTS

Results (or main points of the article):

 Students who understood and were driven to keep going when things got
hard GPAs improved after getting used to the college lifestyle

As students you must stay on top of your grades no matter what conflicts you're
facing. Things tend to get better overtime.
