Relationship between speed, distance
and time
• Speed is how fast an object travels.
• The units of measurements include miles per hours (mph),
kilometres per hour (km/h) and metres per second (m/s)
• We measure speed by finding the distance an object travels in one
unit of time.
• To calculate speed we divide the distance travelled by the time
taken.
