Last quarter the first thing we discussed was about the introduction to the bible.

let’s go back to the introduction to the bible, bible is divided to two parts the old
testament and the new testament, old testaments contains 46 books while new testament
contains 27 books so the whole book in the bible have 73 books. Not only that was
taught to us, we alwas taught about pentateuch which means the first five books of the
bible (genesis,exodus,Leviticus,number and Deuteronomy) the first five books of the
bible aurthor by moses. In genesis it explained how its certain and how its started or how
god made the world and human the main point of genesis is all about the story of
creation. Exodus the second book of the bible it tells the story of Israelites where they
were pitied and made slaves and its all about the salvation and slavery.

Leviticus its content is about Gods instruction and to those who accepted the presence of
God. Numbers is all about Israelites were enslaved in Egypt. Deuteronomy here moses
gave again the law,here also God commandment to gather all the people to listen to him
and to fear him. We also found out three ways how to enterpret the bible, first know the
context of the text, this will help us to connct or better understand its content, secondly
know the author it is also important for us to know who the author is it because
sometimes readers have difficulty when it comes in interpreting and analyzing and the
last is know the text itself. We also learned about the 3 main source of catholic faith, first
one is sacred scripture, sacred scripture is written with the inspiration of the holy spirit
second is sacred tradition, sacred tradtion contains the practices and belief. And sacred
magisterium teaches from the two source the sacred scripture and sacred tradition. The
gospel evangelist are mattew, luke, mark and john theyare the ones who distribute the
good news to everyone. The ten commandments contains Gods commands so that people
can know what is wrong and not make mistake, ten commandments teach us to respect
god andto respect our parents and elders, to be hones, to remember how holy the Sabbath
day and being good with our neighbors the content of the bible is about teaching of god
which we can better understand its content, it will also strengthen our spirituality and
strengthen our belief.

What I have learned? I learned more about the importance of the bible, it is a holy book
that contains the teaching and commandment odf god. Here your knowledge will deepen
even more, it can also be your guide in everyday life. And also we need to start our day
with a prayers always put god first, and you can share your knowledge about god like
you can share the gospel to your friends
