Sample Information – understand your sample

The sample determines the instrument configuration:


• Type of Carrier Gas
• Type of GC Inlet
• Type of Column
• Type of Detector
• Type of Data Acquisition

 Samples must be volatile – readily vaporized without decomposing.

 Samples can be gases, liquids or solids.
