Project summary

II. Project Summary

This image projector works by using multiple mirror systems to create the
infinity illusion. We are doing this project for advertisement purposes. Wouldn't you
want your product to be presented and advertised in a good light with special effects
that entices people? Then by using our infinite image projection you can make your
products shine. We will be making a prototype that can project infinite images of
anything the director wants. We will use a multiple mirror system to make infinite
images of the same product and an illusion of it being magical. We will make a
prototype that has infinite image projection as we have the expertise, resilience, and
potential that will provide necessary equipment for this product. Our infinite image
projector will be two mirrors aligned at a 0-degree angle with each other until there is
an infinite number of images. This will be done in a place that has sufficient space, is
peaceful and comfortable, and is free of distractions so that we can concentrate and
accomplish our product. This will take about 2-3 weeks due to a number of processes,
and it will be accomplished by December 22. Our estimated value for this product is
1,500 pesos.

III. Project Background

Multiple Mirror Systems are merely the extension of what we have
already learned about plane mirrors. The multiple reflections of light back and
forth between reflecting surfaces are referred to as multiple reflections, each of
the two mirrors produces an image due to the single reflection of light off one of
the mirrors faces to an observer's eye. In this project of ours we are going to solve
the problems of people with poor lighting and has fewer special effects. These
needs/problems must be addressed in order for individuals to have their
product presented in the most appealing way possible and for people to
appreciate it even more. The simplest form of mirror system is a flat, reflecting
surface with a light path, A light-collecting system using a plane mirror implies
that the mirror has the same size of area as the solar cell, since no focusing effect
is present. Light concentration can be achieved by using several mirrors aligned
at specified angles, in this study we are about to know why is an image form? In
order to view an object, you must sight along a line at that object; and when you
do light will come from that object to your eye along the line of sight. According
with the law of reflection, line of sight is drawn-out backwards. Each individual
line will intersect at the same point, which is known as the object's image. The
primary goal of this study is to determine how many images a mirror can project
when the angle of the mirror changes. This project also assists us in depicting the
behavior of light passing through a mirror.

V. Project Objectives
What we already know about plane mirrors is simply extended by the use of
multiple mirror systems. The idea that the image distance from the mirror is the same as
the object distance from the mirror is extended by the concept of image location. But our
team wishes to integrate this technology to use as a tool for advertisement. To use
kinematic equations to make a product that projects 3 to infinite amounts of images.

B. Project Risk Management
This are the thing or rules we must follow when conducting or creating
the prototype

Project Hazards Likelihood Prevention

Shattered Glass Low We must exercise

caution when working
with mirrors. Otherwise,
minor and major injuries
would occur.

Splinter Very low When working with

wood, we must wear
gloves to avoid splinter
wounds.

Electricity Very low To avoid electric shock

or grounding, never
handle electricity with
wet hands.

Exposure to paint Very low Solvent, paint, and

lacquer vapors can
irritate and damage the
eyes and mucous
membranes, as well as
the respiratory system.
To avoid exposure to
organic substances, we
must wear a mask and
protective glasses.
