SUNDAY, DECEMBER 4, 2022 TEACHING OUTLINE

Engaging the Wonders of Word-based Expectation at Shiloh 2022

…Josh. 18:1-3… And the whole congregation of the children of Israel
assembled together at Shiloh, and set up the tabernacle of the congregation
there. And the land was subdued before them. 2And there remained among the
children of Israel seven tribes, which had not yet received their inheritance. 3 And
Joshua said unto the children of Israel, How long are ye slack to go to possess
the land, which the LORD God of your fathers hath given you?

 Shiloh is prophetically:
1. A mountain of empowerment towards the establishment of the dominion of
winners – Josh. 18:1/ Psa. 66:3/ Psa. 110:1-3
Josh. 18:1 And the whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled
together at Shiloh, and set up the tabernacle of the congregation there. And the
land was subdued before them.

Ps. 66:3 Say unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! through the greatness
of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.

Ps. 110:1-3 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make
thine enemies thy footstool. 2 The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of
Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies. 3 Thy people shall be willing in the
day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning:
thou hast the dew of thy youth.

2. A mountain of taking delivery of our inheritance in Christ – Josh. 18:3/ 2 Pet.

1:3
Josh. 18:3 And Joshua said unto the children of Israel, How long are ye slack to
go to possess the land, which the LORD God of your fathers hath given you?

2 Pet. 1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that
pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called
us to glory and virtue:

3. A mountain of light where the veil upon the eyes of God’s people shall be
taken away – Isa. 25:6/ Isa. 60:1-3/ Jhn. 1:5/9
Isa. 25:6 And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a
feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of
wines on the lees well refined.
Isa. 60:1-3 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen
upon thee. 2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness
the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon
thee. 3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy
rising.

John 1:5/9 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it
not. 9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the
world.

4. A mountain where God turns away the reproaches of His people shall be
taken away – Isa. 25:9/ Joel. 2:23-26/ Isa. 61:8
Isa. 25:9 And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for
him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be
glad and rejoice in his salvation.

Joel 2:23-26 Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God:
for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come
down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. 24
And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and
oil. 25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the
cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I
sent among you. 26 And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the
name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my
people shall never be ashamed.

Isa. 61:8 For I the LORD love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I
will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with
them.

5. A mountain where God shall wipe away tears from off all faces – Isa. 25:8/
Psa. 30:11
Isa. 25:8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away
tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off
all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.

Ps. 30:11 Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off
my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;
6. A prophetic feast of the word where death shall be swallowed up in victory –
Isa. 25:6-8/ 1 Cor. 15:25-26/54-55
Isa. 25:6-8 And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a
feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of
wines on the lees well refined. 7 And he will destroy in this mountain the face of
the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations. 8 He
will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off
all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth:
for the LORD hath spoken it.

1 Cor. 15:25-26/54-55 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his
feet. 26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

54
So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall
have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written,
Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where
is thy victory?

But without faith, we cannot receive anything from God – Luk. 1:45/ Jms. 1:5-7/
Mak. 6:5-6
Luke 1:45 And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of
those things which were told her from the Lord.

James 1:5-7 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men
liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 6 But let him ask in faith,
nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the
wind and tossed. 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of
the Lord.

Mark 6:5-6 And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands
upon a few sick folk, and healed them. 6 And he marvelled because of their
unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching.

What then is Faith?

 Faith is the substance of things hoped for (expected), the evidence (product)
of things not yet seen – Heb. 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for,
the evidence of things not seen.

 Faith simply substantiates things expected into reality – Jhn. 11:39-44/ Heb.
11:3
John 11:39-44 Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that
was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead
four days. 40 Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest
believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? 41 Then they took away the stone
from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said,
Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. 42 And I knew that thou hearest me
always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe
that thou hast sent me. 43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud
voice, Lazarus, come forth. 44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and
foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith
unto them, Loose him, and let him go.

Heb. 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the
word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do
appear.

For example:
1. Elijah subdued the nation of Israel by his expectation-pregnant faith – 1 Kgs.
18:21-39/40-46/ Heb. 11:33/ Jms. 5:17-18
1 Kings 18:21-46 [ABRIDGED]
21
And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two
opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the
people answered him not a word. 22 Then said Elijah unto the people, I, even I
only, remain a prophet of the LORD; but Baal's prophets are four hundred and
fifty men. 23 Let them therefore give us two bullocks; and let them choose one
bullock for themselves, and cut it in pieces, and lay it on wood, and put no fire
under: and I will dress the other bullock, and lay it on wood, and put no fire
under: 24 And call ye on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the
LORD: and the God that answereth by fire, let him be God. And all the people
answered and said, It is well spoken.

(28-29) 28 And they cried aloud, and cut themselves after their manner with
knives and lancets, till the blood gushed out upon them. 29 And it came to pass,
when midday was past, and they prophesied until the time of the offering of the
evening sacrifice, that there was neither voice, nor any to answer, nor any that
regarded.

(36-46) 36 And it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice,
that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of
Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy
servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word. 37 Hear me, O LORD,
hear me, that this people may know that thou art the LORD God, and that thou
hast turned their heart back again. 38 Then the fire of the LORD fell, and
consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and
licked up the water that was in the trench. 39 And when all the people saw it,
they fell on their faces: and they said, The LORD, he is the God; the LORD, he is
the God. 40 And Elijah said unto them, Take the prophets of Baal; let not one of
them escape. And they took them: and Elijah brought them down to the brook
Kishon, and slew them there. 41 And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and
drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain. 42 So Ahab went up to eat and to
drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon
the earth, and put his face between his knees, 43 And said to his servant, Go up
now, look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, There is
nothing. And he said, Go again seven times. 44 And it came to pass at the seventh
time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man's
hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee
down, that the rain stop thee not. 45 And it came to pass in the meanwhile, that
the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And
Ahab rode, and went to Jezreel. 46 And the hand of the LORD was on Elijah; and
he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.

Heb. 11:33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness,

obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,

James 5:17-18 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed
earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of
three years and six months. 18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain,
and the earth brought forth her fruit.

2. Shadrack, Meshach, and Abednego quenched the fiery furnace through their
expectant faith – Dan. 3:17-28
Dan 3:17-28 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the
burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. 18 But if
not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship
the golden image which thou hast set up. 19 Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of
fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and
Abed-nego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the
furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated. 20 And he
commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach,
Meshach, and Abed-nego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace. 21
Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their
other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
22
Therefore because the king's commandment was urgent, and the furnace
exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach,
Meshach, and Abednego. 23And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and
Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. 24 Then
Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and
said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the
fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. 25 He answered and
said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no
hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God. 26 Then Nebuchadnezzar
came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said,
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, ye servants of the most high God, come
forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, came forth of
the midst of the fire. 27 And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king's
counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the
fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats
changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them. 28 Then Nebuchadnezzar
spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, who
hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have
changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor
worship any god, except their own God.

3. God stopped the mouths of lions because Daniel believed (expected) his God
to do so – Dan. 6:16-24/ Heb. 11:33
Dan. 6:16-24 Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him
into the den of lions. Now the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom
thou servest continually, he will deliver thee. 17 And a stone was brought and laid
upon the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet, and with
the signet of his lords; that the purpose might not be changed concerning Daniel.
18
Then the king went to his palace, and passed the night fasting: neither were
instruments of musick brought before him: and his sleep went from him. 19 Then
the king arose very early in the morning, and went in haste unto the den of lions.
20
And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel:
and the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy
God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions? 21 Then
said Daniel unto the king, O king, live forever. 22 My God hath sent his angel, and
hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before
him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no
hurt. 23 Then was the king exceeding glad for him, and commanded that they
should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and
no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he believed in his God. 24 And
the king commanded, and they brought those men which had accused Daniel,
and they cast them into the den of lions, them, their children, and their wives;
and the lions had the mastery of them, and brake all their bones in pieces or ever
they came at the bottom of the den.

Heb. 11:33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness,

obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions

4. The woman with the issue of blood expected the flow of blood to cease and
she got it – Luke 8:40-48 And it came to pass, that, when Jesus was returned, the
people gladly received him: for they were all waiting for him. 41 And, behold,
there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue: and he
fell down at Jesus' feet, and besought him that he would come into his house: 42
For he had one only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she lay a dying.
But as he went the people thronged him. 43 And a woman having an issue of
blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could
be healed of any, 44 Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment:
and immediately her issue of blood stanched. 45 And Jesus said, Who touched
me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the
multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? 46 And
Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of
me. 47 And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and
falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what
cause she had touched him and how she was healed immediately. 48 And he said
unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in
peace.

5. The crippled man at the ‘Beautiful gate’ expected to receive something and
got his perfect wholeness – Acts 3:5-/16 And he gave heed unto them, expecting
to receive something of them. 6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but
such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and
walk. 16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong,
whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this
perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

 Without expectation, faith is vain, our expectation at Shiloh 2022 shall bring
an end to every storm in everyone’s life – Prov. 23:18 For surely there is an end;
and thine expectation shall not be cut off.
 It is wisdom to be pregnant with expectation, for without that, there can be
no manifestation – Prov. 24:13-14 My son, eat thou honey, because it is good;
and the honeycomb, which is sweet to thy taste: 14 So shall the knowledge of
wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward,
and thy expectation shall not be cut off.

 We must keep our expectation high so as to make the most of Shiloh 2022 –
Psa. 62:5/ Psa. 108:12-13/ Psa. 121:1-3
Ps. 62:5 My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.

Ps. 108:12-13 Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man. 13 Through
God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.

Ps. 121:1-3 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. 2
My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. 3 He will not
suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

Note: Remember, next Sunday is our annual pre-Shiloh anointing service where members
are anointed with oil blessed from the altar, as we pass the bowls of oil across to all
worshippers where they dip their fingers into the oil and place on their foreheads as we
decree protection, preservation, and diverse manifestations of the Spirit before, during
and after Shiloh 2022.
