3. Based on Male Reproductive Sherpa, 2022.

The cremaster muscle in the male reproductive

system regulates testicular temperature by relaxing or contracting to keep sperm inside the

testes cooler than the body's core temperature. The testes are pulled superiorly toward the

superficial inguinal ring by the cremaster muscle. The testes go toward the warm

environment of the body when exposed to the chilly outside air. This uncontrollable

reaction is known as the cremasteric reflex (Kenhub, 2022).-

4. Leydig cells are an alternative type of interstitial cells that play a role in the control of

secondary sex traits through the manufacture of androgens, primarily testosterone and

androstenedione. These include testicular descent, prostate, scrotum, and penis

development, as well as the differentiation of the Wolffian duct, which results in the

development of epididymides, vasa deferens, and seminal vesicles (Holland, 2007).

5. a benign (not cancerous) disorder where the prostate tissue overgrows and presses up against

the urethra and bladder, preventing urine passage. also known as BPH and benign prostatic

hyperplasia. Lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) in older men are caused by a

pathologic process called benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), which is a contributor but

not the only cause of LUTS.

6. The spermatic cord consists of (1) ductus deferens, (2) cremaster muscle, (3) external

spermatic artery, internal spermatic artery, and arteria ductus deferentis, (4) spermatic

nerve, (5) lymph of the spermatic cord, and (6) fascia. (Norman & Henry, 2015)

What are the contents of the spermatic cord?

Ductus deferens, testicular artery, pampiniform plexus, genital branch of genitofemoral nerve.

8. The middle portion of the urethra in those who are born as males is called the membranous urethra.
tube called the urethra is used to drain the bladder of pee. The urethra also contains semen in male
individuals. It transports pee and sperm from the male body. The urethra's surrounding muscles aid in
retaining pee.
