I. Time Context
Actually it was not really mentioned when did this happen, I just
prefer that this event happen sometime during the years of operations of
WSD.

II. Viewpoint
In terms of the viewpoint I am putting myself in the shoes of the
higher management authorities of WSD.

III. Central Problem

The main problem here being face is the routine of the school buses from
the five schools of WSD.

IV. Objectives
MUST:

To be able to formulate the right, best and safest routine for all the
school buses of WSD.

WANT:

To make the students to be on time in terms of their school

appointments.

V. Areas of Consideration
TIME WARNER CABLE SWOT ANALYSIS
STRENGHTS WEAKNESSES
 WSD is a big institution  Decision making in terms of
 Recognize school in the district weighing which strategy is the best
 Good amount of number of  I think hearing only the
students experiences of the school bus
 Have enough number of buses to operators and not also the
experiences of the students is on
cater the number of students they of their weakness
have
OPPORTUNITIES THREATS
 Investment in terms of additional  They maybe a decline in terms of
resources (in particular having the the number of students enrolled if
same sizes of buses) this inconvenience will continue.

VI. Alternative Courses of Action

Well actually the WSD was able to provide 3 alternative courses of action
for this problem in terms of the school bus routines which are mixed trip, non
mixed and the hybrid strategy. Of the three the hybrid strategy have the lowest
travel distance, but the highest in terms of travel duration. The other two have
almost the same amount of distance but with lesser time as compared to the
hybrid strategy.

VII. Recommendation
For my recommendation, I would say that WSD are doing a good thing in
terms of finding the best routines and the safest for the students. It just that I
might say that they should divide the number of buses that they have and
also the size and capacity of each so that they can now delegate each buses
to a specific should wherein it will only be its focus. From that, they will have
lesser travel distance which will be a safer travel because the shorter you
travel, the safer. Also it will lead them to have lesser travel time as well since
buses are now have its designation. Now in the case that the number of
buses and its capacity does not meet the number of students per school, now
WSD should consider having additional asset in the form of the buses to be
able to address the concerns. That all. Thank you!
Note: I did not use po the reference guide you gave because I cannot open it po.
So I decided to use the format that I am always using po whenever I have case
studies. Thank you po.
