About the soundfont and jOrgan disposition

The soundfont is a soundfont version of the sampleset using full stereo samples of each note.
All samples have scaled releases.

The jOrgan disposition console includes a “Reverb” switch, which activates Fluidsynth reverb
settings that approximate the reverb experience of the Kalvträsk impulse response

The original disposition replicates the disposition of the original Kalvträsk Church Organ. The
Pedals are permanently coupled to the manual. The split stops are divided after the first octave.
The original disposition can be played at the pitch of the recorded samples (OP [Original Pitch]
= A 435 Hz) or at standard pitch (RS [Reset] = A 440 Hz).

Dynamic Wind Simulation

Dynamic Wind is a key activated pitch drop that simulates the behavior of wind in a wind chest. A
slight, momentary variance in volume and pitch can be heard as the air is unstable for a moment when
new keys are depressed. This is not just a momentary vibrato applied to the sound (“Flexible wind” or
“Key Articulation”), but a dynamic effect that increases with more key activity. For the simulated
“Dynamic Wind” to operate, the jOrgan MIDI merger must be used. Any activity in MIDI devices
should be detected.

Note
This update of the Kalvtrask sampleset soundfont and disposition for jOrgan does not include a version
of the extended disposition available with the Grand Orgue version.
