Construction Report

PURPOSE OF REPORT

The purpose of this report is to update the customer on the progress of the construction process of his house. We
started this project on January 15, 2022. This report was written on April 25, 2019.

Stages list and estimated dates:

• Concept meetings of architects, designers, and engineers were completed on January 18
• The preliminary construction project was made on January 31

• Project design has been developed on February 5
• The construction plan was approved on February 22

• The tender was announced on March 1
• Construction began on May 15

Problems encountered

Because of the rains, it was impossible to install the chimneys on the roof for 2 weeks, and to
have time to complete this work before the inspection, the workers had to work several nights.

• The first inspection will be on April 25

May
• Review and finalize the drawings before May 10

June
• Complete the construction on June 15
• Eliminate all malfunctions and defects within 6 months

Conclusion

This project was done by professionals, and the deadline for completion will not change despite
bad weather and changes in drawings during construction.

Recommendations

I recommend considering all the details with the designers and the customer before the start of
construction, to avoid making changes to the project during the construction process.
