Behaviorism focuses on the idea that all behaviors are learned through interaction with
the environment.
2. Operant conditioning and classical conditioning have differences.
The main difference between classical and operant conditioning is the way the behavior
is conditioned. In classical conditioning, a neutral stimulus is paired with a conditioned
response. In operant conditioning, a desired behavior is paired with a consequence.
3. Punishment and reinforcement have different purposes.
Reinforcement means increasing a behavior, while punishment means decreasing a
behavior. Punishment can be positive or negative, and reinforcement can be positive or
negative.
