INTRODUCTION
Online games are a type of computer game that utilizes a
computer network. The network that is usually used is the
internet network and the like and always uses current
technology, such as modems and cable connections.

Student is another term that used for students who attend

formal education at the basic level and formal education
at the secondary level. Student is a term for students at the
primary and secondary education levels.

MAIN IDEA
Online game addiction is known as Game Addiction
(Grant and Kim, 2003). This means that a player
exaggerates as if there is nothing to do other than playing
games and as if this game is his life, and has a negative
influence on the players (Weinstein, 2010).

Addicted to Online gaming is a condition characterized by
a lack of control over gaming habits. It has a negative
impact on many aspects of a person's life, including self-
care, relationships, school, and work.

How do online games affect students?

The positive impact of online game addiction is that the
enthusiasm for learning increases, concentration increases
so that the learning outcomes obtained by students also
increase. The negative impact of online game addiction is
that students become lazy to study, have difficulty
concentrating, and are lazy to go to school so that the
learning outcomes obtained decrease.

CONCLUSION
In conclusion, reduce the time to play these online games.
Because anything in excess is not good. Make online
games just to fill your spare time and after completing
work that is more important than just playing games such
as doing homework and other important things
And here's how to reduce addiction to online games :
How to Overcome Online Game Addiction?
1. Limit game play time. One way that can be done to
prevent as well as overcome the problem of online game
addiction is to limit playing time.
2. Looking for a new hobby.
3. Put the game device outside the bedroom.
4. Undergoing psychotherapy.
