Introductory Message

Welcome to ALS Learning Activity Sheet


The Learning Activity Sheet is a product of the collaborative efforts of CID Chief,
LRMDS Supervisor, Master Teachers, ALS Education Program Specialist II, ALS Teachers,
of the Division of Negros Occidental through the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID).
This is developed to guide the learning facilitator (teachers, parents and ALS learners) in
helping the learners meet the standards set by the K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum.

The Learning Activity Sheet is a self-directed instructional materials aimed to guide


the learners in accomplishing activities at their own pace and time using the contextualized
resources in the community. This will also assist the learners in acquiring lifelong learning
skills, knowledge and attitudes for productivity and employment.

For Learning Facilitator:

The Learning Activity Sheet will help you to facilitate and provide the teaching-
learning activities across learning strands in the ALS Kto12 Basic Education Curriculum.
Through this learning material still, you will be able to perform your immense purpose in the
lives of our learners to reach their goals in life.

For the Learner:

The Learning Activity Sheet was developed to help you continue learning during your
home schooling session and enhance your knowledge, skills and attitude based on the standard
of ALS Curriculum. This learning material is parallel to your learning needs based on the
results of assessments from Functional Literacy Test, Recognition of Prior Learnings, and
Individual Learning Agreement. It contains interactive and meaningful learning activities.
Carefully read and understand the instructions, perform the activities and answer all the
activities/exercises.

Return the learning activity sheets to your facilitator on the agreed schedule on the
specified Community Learning Centers (CLC) or drop- off points.

Naipamamalas ang kakayahan at tatas sa pagsasalita at pagpapahayag ng
sariling ideya, kaisipan, karanasan at damdamin

I. PANIMULA (SUSING KONSEPTO)

Ang pagpapahayag ng damdamin, kaisipan at mga naisin sa buhay ay lubhang


mahalaga sa bawat tao. Sa pamamagitan nito, nauunawaan natin ang iba at gayon
din sila sa atin. Alisin mo ang pagpapahayag at para mo na ring kinitlan ng buhay ang
isang tao. Ang sawikain at salawikain ay bahagi ng kultura nating mga Pilipino at ito
ay nagpapakita ng pagmamalaki ng bilang Pilipino sa ating kultura.

Ano ang Sawikain?

Ang sawikain o idiom sa wikang Ingles ay salita o grupo ng mga salitang


patalinghaga na nagsasaad ng hindi tuwirang paglalarawan sa isang bagay,
kaganapan, sitwasyon o pangyayari. Ito ay may dalang aral at kadalasan ay
nagpapahiwatig ng sentimyento ng isa o grupo ng mga tao. Malalalim na salita ang
ginagamit sa sawikain at pinapalitan ang pangkaraniwang tawag kung kaya ito ay
nagiging matatalinghagang pahayag.
Ito ay isang uri ng pagpapahayag na kusang nalinang at nabuo sa ating wika.
Sa ating pang-araw-araw na pakikipagtalastasan, pagsasalita at pagsusulat,
gumagamit tayo nito. Kaya nga’t maging ang mga mamamahayag sa radyo, telebisyon
at pahayagan ay gumagamit din nito upang bigyang diin at gawing kaakit-akit ang
kanilang pagsasalita at pagsusulat.

2. naglalaro ng apoy - nakikisama o nakikipagmabutihan sa di niya


asawa; pagtataksil sa kabiyak

6. itaga mo sa bato - tandaan; tutuparing walang sala
