CALL FOR
STUDENT ART
SUBMISSIONS
 ASU students are invited to submit
their original artwork or photography
for a rotating display in the
Counseling Center!
We are especially seeking work that
is representative of diverse identities
and experiences and promotes
student mental health.
 PLEASE SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING TO
COUNSELING@APPSTATE.EDU BY
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 30TH AT 11:59PM:

Artist name (and whether you'd like your

name displayed or to remain anonymous)
Title, size, and medium of artwork or
photography
Clear image/s of artwork of photography
Brief artist statement (140 words or less)
(Optional) Social media, website, or other
handles/urls that promote your work
(Optional) Artist headshot photo for
display
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Work will be screened for appropriateness (i.e.
inclusive, supportive of student mental health, etc.).
Artists will be notified regarding submission(s) no later
than 10/7/22 and work will need to be ready to
display (i.e. framed and/or hang-able in some
fashion) following this date. Sculpture pieces will be
considered depending on space available. Artists will
be responsible for delivering their pieces to the
Center and picking them up by an agreed upon
deadline. Depending on number of submissions
received, pieces would be displayed for 1-2 semesters
at a time. By submitting your work, you give the
Counseling Center permission to post your work to our
social media platforms and newsletter.
