Bench Top Multiple Heat Exchanger Unit (SHT-25)

GENERAL DISCRIPTION

 The setup is designed and fabricated to study phenomenon of different Heat Exchanger.
 The Apparatus consist of table top mounting up of four different Heat Exchangers.
 Temperature Sensors are fitted to measure the temperature at different Points
 The apparatus is fully computerized with data acquistation system.
 The apparatus consist of boiler for hot water, circulation Pump, valves, two rota-meters for primary and secondary
circuit, digital temperature meters.

EXPERIMENTATION

 Temperature Measurement by means of digital meters

 Parallel and counter Flow Test For all Heat Exchanger
 Calculation of all Heat exchange coefficient for the all the four type of Heat exchanger.
 Determination of Heat exchanger efficiency
 Calculation of Logarithmic average temperature Difference that represents the effective temperature differential
 Plotting of the curves of the Heat Transferred Q against various flow rates of one of the two fluids
 Drawing up of the test sheets and calculations of the different exchange parameters under various conditions.
 Plotting of the curves related to Head Losses when crossing Heat exchangers.
