PROPORTION - is the equality of two ratios and two ratios are equal
when the product of the extremes is equal to the
product of the means.

RATIOS - the outer terms in a proportion. is used to compare two


or more quantities of the same kind

EXTREMES - the outer terms in a proportion.

MEANS - the inner terms in a proportion.

RATE - the comparison of the quantities that consider the units.
