EVENT NAME: TAGWAR

EVENT DESCRIPTION:
This is a rapid-fire buzzer round where teams will have to identify the
taglines of a brand or product.
RULES:
• This event consists of two rounds. The first round will be a quiz,
based on which top 20 students will be qualified
to the next round.
• In the second round, top 20 participants will be divided into 10
teams that is 2 participants per team. The teams will be allotted
by the organizers on a lot basis.
• Time duration: 25 seconds (net). i.e.; 20 seconds to read the
question and press the buzzer. And the team which is required
to answer shall answer it within 5 seconds.
• Answers given after pressing the buzzer will only be considered
for final evaluation.

ACTIVITY OUTCOMES:
• You will be able to assess your memory capacity just by identifying
the brand on seeing the tagline or vice versa.
• Helps you to know about the company or a brand in a single line.
ACTIVITY REQUIEREMENTS:
• Mobile Phone with a Decent Network Connection.
Activity Agenda:
DO’s:
1. Make sure the question is answered within stipulated time.
Duration per question:25seconds. That is; 20 seconds to read
the question and press the buzzer and the team which is given
the chance of answering must answer within 5 seconds. Since
this is a rapid-fire round, the team which has first pressed the
buzzer will be given the chance to answer first.
2. Certain questions will pass on to the next team if a team has
pressed the buzzer and has failed to answer or has given a
wrong answer. Such questions will pass on based on the order
of buzzer.
3. Only one phone per team will be allowed.
4. A team will be given only one chance to answer a question. So,
discuss among your teammates and give the final answer.

DON’Ts:
1. Usage of extra phone (that is more than 1 phone) by a team is
strictly prohibited. If a team is found to use the phone other
than the purpose specified the team will be immediately
disqualified. And the marks scored by the said team will be null
and void.
2. Giving more than 1 answers by a team is not encouraged. Such
teams will not be given points for the answer.
3. Do not claim excess time to answer a question. Any answer
given beyond 25th second for a question will not be taken into
consideration.
4. Any form of conflict among the teams is not encouraged.
Judge’s decision will be final.
WEIGHTAGE:
• Each right answer will carry 10 marks.
• Passed on questions will carry 5 mark each.
• If any team attempts any question incorrectly or leaves it
unanswered, they will be awarded -5m.
