SUBJECT : Progress Report on Shooting Incident that Resulted to the

Death of Amierkhan Pulalon y Mangacop

DATE : July 03, 2022

1. Reference: Sport report on Shooting Incident dated July 02, 2022.

2. On July 02, 2022 at about 12:00 o’clock in the morning an alleged shooting
incident transpired outside at Lugar café and Bar located at Esquena de
Tavera Building, Corner V. Mapa and J. Camus Extension Street wherein the
victim Amierkhan Pulalon Mangacop, 21-year-old, medical student, resident of
El Rio Subdivision, Bacaca, Davao City was shot seven times in the body by
Dr. Marvin Rey Andrew R. Pepino, 31, non-uniformed personnel of Police
Regional Office, resident of Hillside, Bajada, Davao City. The victim was
brought to the nearest hospital but was declared dead on arrival by the
attending physician thereat.

3. Upon receiving of information, the San Pedro Police Station immediately take
response to the crime scene. Allegedly, the incident started as a heated
altercation which escalated into shooting incident. The suspect was forced to
used his gun because he was mauled by a group of people and said that it
was his self-defense.

4. The suspect was arrested at the crime scene and the weapon that was used
in the commission of the crime was recovered and now the suspect is in the
custody of this station for investigation and proper disposition.
