HOW WE CAN BE CERTAIN OF
OVERCOMING TRIALS OF LIFE AND BE
SAVED
INTRODUCTION: WHY ARE SOME IN
DANGER OF NOT BEING SAVED?

Some people are like seeds on rocky,
soil. They welcome the word with joy
whenever they hear it, but they don't
develop any roots. They believe for a while,
but when their faith is tested, they
abandon it
I Tim. 1:19-20 NIV
19 Holding on to faith and a good
conscience, which some have rejected and
so have suffered shipwreck with regard to
the faith. 20 Among- them- are
Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I have
handed over to Satan to be taught not to
blaspheme.

6Be glad about this, even though it may
now be necessary for you to be sad for a
while because of the many kinds of trials

I. WHEN WE ARE TROUBLED BY THE
TRIALS THAT WE EXPERIENCE IN OUR
LIVES, WHAT SHOULD WE NOT DO?

II. IF WE FIRMLY BELIEVE AND TRUST
IN CHRIST, WHAT CAN WE DO
THROUGH HIS HELP?

strength to do that.

III. WHAT DO THE APOSTLES
INSTRUCT US TO DO WHEN WE NEED
HELP BECAUSE OF THE HEAVY
BURDENS, DIFFICULTIES,
AND TROUBLES IN LIFE?
Heb. 4:14-16 GNB
14Let us, then, hold firmly to the faith
we profess. For we have a great High Priest
who has gone into the very presence of
God---Jesus, the Son of God. 15Our High
Priest is not one who cannot feel sympathy
for our weaknesses. On the contrary, we
have a High Priest who was tempted in
every way that we are, but did not sin.

16Let us have confidence, then, and
approach God's throne, where there is
grace. There we will receive mercy and find
grace to help us just when we need it.
