The student describes their communication habits as initiating conversations, especially with close friends and family. They see themselves as an extrovert who enjoys socializing and sharing opinions on various topics. However, the pandemic limited in-person interactions for two years, dulling their extroverted nature. The student was excited to return to face-to-face classes and reconnect with classmates, communicating well with their seatmates.

9/3/2022 Ma’am Villaroya Activity #1 “Based from the definition of communication, what do you think best describes your communication habits? Your answer should reflect your understanding of today’s lesson”
For me, communication is a means of expressing, understanding,
and exchanging concepts, information, facts, and even personal experiences with others. I can characterize it as a procedure that unites individuals and fosters mutual understanding between them through various verbal and/or non-verbal forms of communication. I think what best describes my communication habit is that I am the type of person that always initiates the conversation, especially when I am close to the ones I am talking to. I can say that I’m an extrovert when it comes to communicating with people. Of course, I know my limits when it comes to people that I am not that close with. But with the two years of only being inside my home, I felt that my extroverted attitude became dull. I haven’t had anyone to talk to in person except for my family. That’s why I was excited that we got a chance to experience face to face again since I’ll be able to socialize again. When we started our face-to-face classes this Tuesday, I was happy since I was able to talk to my classmates again. I was also able to communicate with my seatmates very well. Some of my habits when I’m communicating is that I tend to talk a lot and when another topic opens, I am quick to share my opinions or experiences on that specific topic. Sometimes I am the type who just listens and share brief feedbacks to that information.
