How can the Intellectual Property Code protect the rights of inventors, scientists, and artists? - The Intellectual Property Code not only protects the right of authors, inventors, scientists, and artists, but it also provides proper recognition and accreditation to the intellectual works and creativity that these creative individuals have created, exhibited, and discovered. These merits allow the owners to have the rights to oversee what’s happening in their protected intellectual works. Not only that, but it also protects the creative minds of these individuals that ensues artistic and economic development throughout the world. Without the Intellectual Property Code, there would be no way to recognize and credit original works since it can be claimed by everyone as their own and no one would admit that they just stole the works and idea of others.

- Using other people’s intellectual works without proper accreditation to the owner is considered as a violation of the Intellectual Property code. Copyright Infringement is an example of this violation as it is the unauthorized usage of copyright- protected material. Under this violation is piracy and digital piracy, which is the reproduction of a copyrighted work physically and digitally without the permission of the owner. In addition, counterfeiting is the act of imitating or forgering a material or goods with the intent to deceive consumers that the products sold are real and original. 3.
