PART A
The block area is well connected by road networks. State highway passes
through the area connecting the district headquarters Jharsuguda and
Sundargarh. Hemagiri is the tahsil headquarter and main town nearest to the
Road
area. Kendudihi is the only village in the block area which is connected by
kachha road with the state highway. Different parts of the block can be accessed
by cart track and pack tracks. Paradip port is about 432 km from the block.
The nearest airport is at Bhubaneswar, the state capital, around 400 km from

Surface Hills of Garjanjor Reserve Forest in the northern part of the area forms water
Drainage divide in the area, streams originating from it flow southerly in the middle of the
Channels area. The drainage pattern in the area is subdendritic in nature and is controlled
by lithology and structure.

prior allottee in Annexure-I/II, as available. For clarifications with regard to above data, please
refer aforesaid source documents.
2. The boundary of the block has been taken from GR after conversion to WGS84 system by
feature matching. The block boundary is provisional and the cardinal points, bounding co-
ordinates are approximate.
3. There is a difference in area in the shape file and GR. Area in the shape file is based on feature
mapped plan of the block as given in the GR. So, the area is tentative and field DGPS survey
is required to ascertain the exact area.
