The Minister responsible for marine and ports services, in exercise of the power
conferred by section 10(1) of the Marine Board Act 1962, issues the following Notice:
Citation
1 This Notice may be cited as the Marine Board (Control Over Maritime Traffic) (No.
7) Notice 2022.

(2) During the Parade, all boatmen are required to observe a five-knot no wake
restriction and exercise caution when approaching or navigating the waters of Hamilton
Harbour.
Patrol of course
5 The waters of Hamilton Harbour will be patrolled by the Coast Guard Unit of the
Royal Bermuda Regiment during the Parade and the fireworks display.
Postponement of Parade
6 In the event of inclement weather, the Parade and the fireworks display will take
place on Sunday 11 December 2022 between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., and
the provisions of this Notice will apply in all respects on that date.
Offence
7 It is an offence under section 10(3)(a) of the Marine Board Act 1962 to fail to observe
the requirements of this Notice, punishable on summary conviction in accordance with
section 112 of that Act.
