1.Why do you want to be a part of The Academy?

a. Being an avid book reader and also a movie bluff, I think The Academy will provide
me with right exposure and also with the knowledge I have, I think I’ll be able to
contribute to the club too by encouraging other students to take interest in movies and
books.
2. In your opinion, what are the skills that you possess that’d make you an asset to the
club?
a. I am a keen learner , I can express myself with words really well and also I am a very
patient person which will help during events of the club.
3. What is your vision for the coming year?
a. For the coming year I want to introduce as many as books as possible to the SCMS
world through newsletters and book review. Also conduct exciting quizzes throughout
the year about popular books and movies.
4. Give a full – proof idea for an event for the forthcoming year.
a. For the forthcoming year, we can organize a treasure hunt program where the clues
would be in the form of some dialogue or quote of a movie or book and the candidate
has to guess the movie or the book which lead him /her to a place where the second
clue would be there. A charades game could be there where the candidate has to guess
the movie through a song of the movie.
5. How would you ensure student participation and interaction with the club?
a. Weekly update of book and movies review. Also we can conduct monthly
competitions like story writing or poetry writing in various other languages etc. and

then the best among them would be included in newsletter in this way budding
authors, poets and columnist would get a platform to express themselves and these
new authors every month will keep our audience hooked and also people will develop
an emotional sentiments when a work will be published in their native language.
6. List any 3 of your strengths and weaknesses.
a. STRENGTH
 Easy person to work with.
 Have good command on English and Hindi language.
 Believes in team spirit and group effort.
WEAKNESS
 Jumps to conclusion too fast.
 Does not always follow book method.
 Have stage fear.
